That made me think of the scene in The Three Amigos where they're eating the bat.  :D

The hotel allows dogs (unless they have changed their policy). They have to be on a lease when in the public and you have to pay a fee. I would call the hotel to verify this. The hotel will be full of animals on Saturday as the local Heritage Humane Society will be bringing in several of their animals to show.

Good for them!  ....love animal friendly hotels...patronize these when I have my show dogs w/me and not bringing camper.  Am not staying w/the hotel, tho...am staying w/friends.  Dog would just be part of my costume...  ;D  Can't wait to see the doggies & kitties for adoption...am bringing a donation jar for the JB Forum members to donate to at various events...will that be OK?

Oh, crap.

Will ONCE AGAIN need to remind PG that we have four cats, a dog, and a tiny house... and WE WILL NOT BE BRINGING ANY MORE HOME!!!!

Although we do give generously for donations.  :D

I have about 750lbs of Golden Retrievers, 20 lbs of cats, 4 pounds of birds, and 1200 pounds of horse, assorted but unweighed wild deer & foxes, too, and a skunk that lives in my driveway drainage culvert (as you might suspect, she is unweighed as well).  Small house but 14 acres of land.  I've put myself on the same animal restriction as your dear PG...

That is one of my cats by himself!  The others come out to a total of 32 lbs between the three.  :D

Oh, did I mention the outside feral cat we've been feeding to help it get through the winter, but can't find anyone to take if we catch it?? Maybe we'll just bring it with us and sneak it into one of the animal shelter's cages...  :D

We've got about 60 lbs. of cat in our place between five of the beasts.

At a guess, we've got around 25lbs of cat with our 2.  Will actually know later today, if we can manage to catch them for their vet appt.
