Sorry to hear we won't be meeting you, PG and OE.  :(

I'm all packed.  Had to check a bag, as I'm guessing security might have something to say about me trying to carry on a 3 1/2 foot sword...

Unless it was a biologist's coffee mug.  They would just wonder who washed their mug.

I resent that comment!

:D  I have to admit, I'm guilty of the gross biologist mug at times.  I've known an awful lot of us who, for some reason, just don't wash coffee mugs.  By the end of a month you don't actually have to brew coffee; you just pour hot water into the mug and get instant coffee.

Apparently we're not the only ones sick.  Sorry to hear that PG and OE.  I will still be attending the Con and fan dinner, but my +1 might be changing.  Hubby has the flu, has been on meds but is still getting worse not better and he'd rather not share with anyone.

ATTENTION, FAN DINNER GUESTS:

We will be congregating in the front lobby around 4:45 Saturday evening so we can determine who needs a ride to Sal's and who has extra room.  Then we'll start caravanning over.

Sal's accommodates 300 people, so if you didn't RSVP, they should have no problem seating you.

We have a minivan that seats 7.  We can take 3 extra people.

Chiro, I must admit I also know a lot of biologist that don't wash their mugs. But not all of them are like that. I tried to have my mug (a pretty girlish rose and white thing) clean. I am not a cleaning obsessive, but I rather have my beverages clean. Afterwards, I can aspire fly rests as well as anybody else  ;)

Shoot me now. Woke up at 4 AM. And wife's delicate little snores were just enough to keep me from falling asleep. Looks like I'm going to be caffeine's bitch for the duration of the con.

Well, Shecky from time to time everybody has to pay his/her respects to Godess Caffeine. And hopefully the con would be fun enough to keep you awake.
Have a wonderful time, people!
