Oh, I would soooo take him out to dinner in Ann Arbor, MI if he came here!  Like I would need to be convinced!

San Francisco
I'm gonna quote you here, because I completely missed him the last time he was anywhere near me. Really, anywhere on the San Francisco peninsula is good, but unfortunately that Borders he appeared at a few years ago has closed.
Harry Dresden: *hypothetical dialogue* "Alright, you demonic screwheads, listen up! This… is my BOOM STICK! FUEGO!"

I've got a new nickname for our hero: Harry "Not-So-Subtle" Blastzone Burningfield Dresden.

The song's melody follows the river to the pond.

Powell's Books downtown Portland, OR.
Missed him last time. It was pre-Butcher/Dresden for me.
Now that I've read them all it would be way cool to meet Jim.
From his belt hung a sword, narrow of blade and keen, the hilt rough with beryls and black diamonds.
And none can surpass Lord Brandoch Daha in feats of arms.

Kansas City ComicCon

Does anyone know if there even is a Kansas City ComicCon?

I'm placing it here to hopefully generate interest, get one started, and get Jim there.

That's really odd.  Non-mods shouldn't be able to start topics here.

*flexes his punny hacking muscules*

nope, adjusting the url for starting a topic elsewhere so that it points to this forum gives me the error message:
