Just tagging in. It's too late to figure mine out tonight.
How do you know you have a good book?  It's 3am and you think "Just one more chapter!"

I'm more of a DF fan, but if you want to make your own CA geek-code be my guest.  Alternatively, if you suggest a few compelling categories, I would certainly consider adding them.
Bear in mind that most of the categories in the DV code depend on predictions of future event/mysteries.  Since Codex Alera is basically done, it might be harder things to list (maybe favorite fury?)

...muahahahahahahahahaha...

That is all.

;D

discussion in other topics gave me a thought, maybe we could have a new section on where Harry will stand during the BAT. (with the Denarians, Gray Council, Controlled by Black Council, controlling the Outsiders and destroying the world, Winter Knight, etc.)

The next iteration needs to have something about Mouse. Something like...

MS++++: Mouse is a shape-shifted future Harry, who has traveled back in time to protect his younger self.
MS+++: Mouse is a semi-omnipotent deity, inhabiting the body of a cuddly canine for reasons we mere mortals cannot comprehend.
MS++:  Mouse is a construct created by the 'Za Lord's Guard (note his affinity for people food).
MS+: We haven't seen all of what Mouse can do. His powers will soon rival Harry's.
MS: Mouse is no more than a super-awesome dog with a limited range of magical abilities.
MS-: Mouse is not as awesome as he seems to be. He fakes it for tummy rubs.
MS--: Mouse is a Faerie beast sent to keep an eye on/protect Harry... but from which Court?
MS---: Mouse isn't really trying to help Harry; he's part of the Black Council's fuzzy contingent, manipulating Harry to serve their needs.
MS----: Mouse is clearly Mister's bitch.
!MS: I am Mouse. How do I type without thumbs??
?MS: Was that Tom or Jerry?

I think in regards to the code about the swords, something like the shipping code is needed where we can refer to specific characters.

Quick question: Why does the Geek Code say DVRPG instead of the game's name, DFRPG?  Is this a typo, or does it have deeper meaning?

DV = Dresdenverse, though I suppose DFRPG is the more official acronym.  Good catch.

All right, here goes for mine.  Let's see if I managed to do this properly:

Lt. Commander Habu reporting for duty as the 1st Officer of the USS Hollyprise, Captain Dresden.

Ok...  I think this works...

DV Ona v1.0 YR3 FR(0.3/2) BK++ RP- JB TH(+.5) WG+ CL+ SW(x3) BC+ MC(+.5) MS+++ SH[Elaine++, Murphy+, Molly--]

I'm not sure I'm allowed to take such liberties...  FR(0.3/2) = I've spent apx. 3 months on the forum over 2 years.  & SW(x3) = I am pretty sure the swords will be wielded by 3 separate people - Sanya being one.

OK?  Do I need to get this approved by the Geek Squad or something...

Ona

PS:  I wish I had some "formulaic" way of saying how much I would *love* to meet JB (though I think it's distinctly unlikely).  But he seems like such an all around nice guy and good soul.  It seems so darn neutral to just put his initials up there.

Where is the discussion on using parenthesis to show range?  I've searched and searched and can't find it.  I've been using them essentially mathematically - but I would *love* more range!

Thanks,

Ona

Cowl goes straight from CL to CL++. What's CL+? And yeah, could someone clarify how parentheses are supposed to be used?
