I don't think it's really likely to happen but I want it to happen :p

Something that is likely to happen and that I hope will happen is another online bittenbybooks Q&A for 2011.(or earlier :p )

You just have to come to the US.

Thanks for all the pics guys! I feel like I was there, I even got sick with the crud.....too bad I didn't get to hear Jim's storytelling, but the cosplay looks like a winner, Pricille awsome shoes/tights!

Maine and Sweden aren't that far apart.  There's just an ocean and Norway and stuff.
Yes, instead, I am reaaaaaaaally far, far away, and not many people here read DF, so chances of JB coming here are near to zero. (Unless he come as a tourist. And we have a beautiful country to welcome him. So it is possible)

I can not stress how rewarding cosplay was!  There was only one downside --  it made it difficult to get from point A to point B!  My husband and I were stopped constantly by peeps wanting out photos!

Definitely gonna pull a Peabody costume together before shenanigans next occur! I did go in costume on Friday as Jack Hyland, a character from the webcomic Gunnerkrigg Court (www.gunnerkrigg.com, highly recommended!). That was worth getting together, as I had two friends coming as well, and the author was there all the way from England. Once-in-a-lifetime chance to wow him with showing up as one of his characters! Mission accomplished!

Right now, my search is on for a giant cocktail sword for a Za Guard costume, and dino costume to modify as Sue. I've already got most of what I need for Mrs. Spunkelcrief.  ;D

Isn't Kitai topless?

Not for most of the series.  As a whelp, she wears a short tunic, and she wears Aleran-style clothing from the point she arrives in Alera Imperia onwards.  She's only topless for the two years or so between FoC and AF.  And whenever she and Tavi have a few moments to themselves. :D

And it was always amazing how fast she could go from fully dressed to brownchickenbrowncow.
