I'd like to know if that's a genetic thing, somehow.  Like rolling your tongue.  Because I can't move my eyebrows independently.

Assuming you are inquiring to the comments about a highlighted copy of strom front being scanned in....

Enj and I were both sitting in the Lounge when the guys in the picture wiht Jim were asking for an explination to some of the technics on his blog. When the subject of scene writing came up (Scene sequel) I made the comment to the guys (and Gal there) that if thye take any one of Jims books, 4 highlighters and follow the processn you can break down the system and formula he uses to build his scenes and write all of his books.

I came up with the idea about six months ago to help myself in learning and did this to a fresh copy of Storm Front.

That's a really cool idea.  Especially cause that's the one thing that always kinda went over my head.

Enjorous, if you were the guy getting the visual of Jim's story arc, I was the guy in black sitting next to you.

Too bad I hadn't shown up here before.

My wife & I had a great time at TusCon and totally geeked out! Wanted to take a moment and thank Jim & Shannon for coming to podunk Tucson. Thank you guys so much!!! We had a great time on Friday, and were seriously contemplating calling in sick to work, to go the whole weekend.
I've met numerous rich & famous people, but none have left me as speechless, and nerdy feeling, as meeting one of my favorite authors! My wife and I went and ordered a pizza from the extremely busy and understaffed lounge. While we were waiting for our food I noticed Jim & Shannon walk in and get in line for food, 30 minutes before they were scheduled to talk! As we had already been waiting 15 minutes for our food. I walked over and offered to share with the Butcher's, so they could eat and still make it in time to talk. Jim politely refused, but I had never been so happy to get turned down on an offer of free food before! The only thing I could think to say after he thanked me for the offer was, "I love your books!" Not quite the articulate response I was planning for a meeting with a favorite author! I never truly realized how big a nerd I was till that moment. Thanks again for the great time!  :)

I dunno, I don't put much on my laptop, it's pretty much designated for writing and schoolwork.

I'm sure it's not hard to do it, I just need to find something to do it and learn how. Once I finish my Alera Fic, it's going to be my first prority.
