Codex Alera Spoilers / On Maximus: "Well one of us is going to lose then."

I convinced my sister to read the series.  She's in PF right now.  We're talking about the different characters, and I say that I want to be Maximus.  She responds, "Well I want to marry Maximus, so one of us is going to lose here."

 

At least she's got good taste in men?
