Losing control during a performance would be both bad for the character and great for the band's mystique!  Imagine a goth band with a reputation for occasionally killing a fan with nothing but the dark power of their music...

This graphic needs to be a bookmark!  An actual, printed bookmark, not a browser bookmark.

Thanks for starting this thread. We are watching it and taking notes. The Summer assertion is correct as far as we know, though. (Chad did a lot of meticulous research when he documented the world.)

My question was influenced by the fact that I am relistening to the SK audiobook right now.  I bow to Chad's research.

Am I correct in believing that every "handwritten" comment on the text is accompanied by blue highlighter in the main text?  If so, should I keep noting instances where it seems to be missing?

If you don't play RPGs and are unlikely to ever do so, I'd still recommend buying Volume 2.  It includes a comprehensive guide to the first ten novels.  Unless ROC puts out an official "Dresden Files Companion", it's the best source you will find.

YS14, col.2, para.2 - "The Summer Court has offered mild assistance to the White Council in the course of the Vampire War..."  Should this be Winter Court?  I'm thinking of the events of SK.
YS14 both columns - Blue highlighter is missing on relevant text next to Harry's and Billy's comments.

I've found one minor typo so far:

YS8, col.2, para.4 - "You also act a referee...".  Shouldn't there be an 'as' in there?

I will post any more errors I find to this thread.  Fred, if you already have a protocol and/or venue set up for this, reply here and I will use it instead.

I'm having a small problem. The only payment option I see is paypal but I don't have a paypal account. Do I need one to order from your site?

From the shopping cart page:

"Currently, we only offer PayPal as a payment option. (You don't need a PayPal account to use it!)"

I love the optimism! I can't buy into it until I see the numbers actually adding up... but I'm glad to hear folks are excited enough to think it's possible.

Now, if you want to help *make* it possible -- and I'd love it if you did -- make sure you get the word-of-mouth out there: tweet, blog, talk, play. Small companies like ours make it or break it on the strength of word-of-mouth buzz, and that means if you're reading this message, you are part of our ability to succeed.

Oh, I've already gotten two people hooked on the novels and talked one of them into buying the game.  Also, I will be ordering three sets of the game on Monday for birthday-gift purposes.

If it's any consolation it took me a few to realize that this was a prank.

Heh!  Thanks for that.  I'm glad it wasn't a total failure.   :)

We migrated to a high-CPU usage server recently, and I don't think the bandwidth usage will be what kills us here. So, fingers crossed. :)

There is a huge pent-up demand for this game.  I think the order volume will stun you...

Will the preorder include anything extra in the way of physical product?  For instance, will I have the opportunity to order the book in a special binding or signed by the creators, or something along those lines?

I stopped by my local game store today to pick up some Magic boosters.  As I walked by the roleplaying display, something caught my eye and I almost tripped.  They had ten copies of the Dresden Files RPG out on the shelf!  I debated telling the owner that the release date is still over two months away, but I couldn't resist.  I bought both volumes.

Let me assure everyone that the game is GORGEOUS!  What a fantastic read for the Easter weekend.  I hope Iago and the other designers won't be mad about this...
