The art is inconsistent and often lacks important detail. The story so far is a bit of a stretch, already seeing minor plot holes.

Story wise it also reminds me of Ghoul Goblin, which is not a good thing. It was nice to see Listens-to-wind, but he's drawn much more frail than I imagined him to be.

First issue out this week, and I am not so happy with the art work. It just strikes me as poor quality.

DF Spoilers / Re: On Nemesis and Why it can't / doesn't infect Humans

Question, were Lord Raith and/or Vittorio Nfected?

White Court are human enough to have a certain amount of Free Will. In theory, if humans are immune to being Nfected, they should be as well.

Should be out this month, but I haven't seen any previews.

DF Spoilers / Re: Lara-Nemesis-Oblivion War

Two Winter Lady's killed. Mab "doing what she thought best" for Leah according to Jim which sounds a little ominous to me...  What may appear moronic might be the exact opposite if you knew the long game.  If Jim is writing it right it's much more like chess than checkers.  Those who were openly infected may have been so purposely while covert agents don't appear infected at all.

Taking what happened to Cat Sith into account, it does seem like Nemesis can take as much or possibly as little control as it needs to over someone. This is kind of like Peabody and his mind control ink, leaving the White Council wondering just how much of their actions were their own or were subtly being influenced by Peabody.

In a way that disappoints me, because it leaves all the logical holes and contradictions in place.  If Lara had been making it up, or distorting it for Thomas, some of those problems would be gone.

I don't see how. JB has thought this out and his explanation not only makes sense but is verified in the series. Lara doesn't need to create a whole mysterious ruse to control Thomas, we have seen her do it with much simpler methods, more traditional White Court methods.

Bet they also have legal counsel, mostly for basic things like contracts and legal advice. Though it might also come in handy for those rare court dates for other matters.

It does seem like the council tends to be self-independant. But there has to be the occasional mortal on hire to perform services that the Council might have trouble with.

Just received my game box plus two plastic envelopes containing extra cards. I somehow thought there would be more extra cards, unless they are inside the box. Haven't opened it yet.

Maybe it is this one?

DF Spoilers / Re: Cowl's Identity

So choice 2?

Indeed, I included an option for 'An unmet person'.  'Other ' was intended more for those who would vote for Rudolph the red nosed AI detective, but can't becausei forgot him.I might be able to add Rudolph.  He's up there with Larry Fowler for most annoying mortal that might actually be the Big Bad.
Yup.  But several are dead, so... who am I to nitpick?

It was your choice of words 'An unmet person' that threw me off. It would have made more sense to me if you just said 'Harry hasn't met him yet'. I see the word 'unmet' and I'm asking what does that mean? I know it's a legit word, but in this context it sounds strange.

I just do not think he is anyone we know..

Yeah. I'm not entirely sure JB yas decided who Cowl really is, so he very well might not be anyone we or Harry have met yet.

Simon though would have been my second choice on this poll.

Normally I would have voted for Simon, but I have a feeling that Harry can't sense anything familiar about Cowl. By now I'd figured he'd run into just about every Wizard at least once, or could at least recognized the style of magic.

So I went with other.

Time traveling Harry and someone else locked in ice to prevent PG Harry from realizing who they were!

I mean, if we're spouting theories, that is.   ;D

True. Need to focus on the proven, not the assumed or guessed.

I get the feeling that those frozen statues in Proven Guilty have a significance, maybe that hasn't been revealed yet.

It definitely reran in '87 and '88--I found quotes from people online who recall watching reruns those years--but I jut don't know the day of the week they were on. Harry specifically says he watched them on Friday.

The libraries I used to work at had microfilm collections of newspapers. if I still had access to them I could go back to 1987 and look up the TV listings.
