I believe the WOJ on that was that the Lady can do things that wouldn't result in pregnancy so long as her self-control is strong enough that the mantle doesn't perceive a danger of crossing that line, and Maeve did. Presumably Fix and Sarissa are in a similar situation. Summer mantles probably don't amp lust up quite as hard as Winter ones, so they might have it easier.
Maeve didn't bother:

Quote
“Maeve, what could I possibly have ruined for you? Did finally moving out of that studio apartment destroy your life? Did getting my nursing degree somehow diminish your power? Did I steal some boyfriend of yours that you accidently left breathing after the first night?”

Also a way for the winter lady to kill someone directly

It could be that she was just looking whether he was going to die.

If it does not kill a mortal it shall not be that effective against all but the weakest supernaturals. An air gun won’t even go through most clothing.

Right. I'm just pointing out how far people go with their versions of foreshadowing. They fight hard for it and it grows in other people's versions and somehow it becomes truth to what's going to happen. And then Jim laughs at us and says NOPE. It's my story and I want to see you cry.
Oh Mab dying will cause a lot of crying.

Yeah, read Cold Case. It's in Brief Cases. Long story short, she has to do it becauseMab told her to, she doesn't like it, she's fighting it.
Also because she has no better solution. The troops are necessary. But she is thinking about it.

Lara knows. She heard everything that happened in the deeps between Harry and her father.

Oh, right, I thought he went in to hide from the sunrise.  So probably mostly hiding out of self-preservation, but again, he was hovering around heads for a few minutes.  Hard to imagine no-one noticed. But just because they might have seen doesn't mean they would necessarily recognize or share amongst themselves.
There was a lot going on and everyone thinks Bob is dead. Luccio talked about him as gone. Connecting one more strange thing with Bob is not to be expected.

Ask Kincaid. He has special amno for everyone.

I don't think Lara had anything to do with it.  In Grave Peril she was captured along with Susan.  Susan got half turned I think out of spite by Bianca, supposedly nothing happened to Justine.  However it was at that very party that Cowl gave Lea the Knife infected with Nemeses.  So it is plausible that if they knew the connection between her, Thomas, and the White Court, with the help from Bianca, Justine was also infected.  That is a WAG, but plausible because of the connections..

At the end of Blood Rites, she then becomes Lara's secretary/assistant and supposedly was doing some spying for Harry as well.  We know all the Outsider connections with the White Court so it is also plausible that it was set up then.
The problem with an infection that early is that she did not look that important in Grave Peril. Pappa Raith was in power and Thomas was a spoiled brat soon to be killed by his father just like the other ones.

2. Hendricks either didn't know Marcone had taken up the coin or died to keep the fact that Marcone had taken up the coin secret. Either way, I think this shows that Marcone very much wants to keep the fact that he's a Nicklehead a secret.
Of course. He does not want all the enemies Namshiel and the fallen collected to be his enemies too.

Harry was dead, uriel didn't just snatch Harry's soul out of his living body, angels aren't allowed to do that. Uriel had to wait till Harry was dead and then take the soul, before mab could get to it. Mab then had to repair the body and keep it functioning until uriel was done.
That's why uriel was allowed to offer Harry the chance to stay in the afterlife and work for him, an angel couldn't do that to a mortal who's alive. Once Harry made his choice it allowed mab to put Harry's soul in his body.
There might have been some negotiation between Uriel and Mab about Harry just as there might have been some negotiation between Uriel and Vadderung about Murphy.

Were they? What do we really know about their relationship?
Margaret was called LaFey and Lea was her only Sidhe contact mentioned. Lea knows intimate things about how she sees life and how that changed. From every small thing I read I get the impression they were pretty close.

I was under the impression he was hiding from  the rising sun.
That too.

But Luccio was quite clear about what the council thought about Bob in Small Favor and Bob knows.
