Hello from Snowmageddon! We are completely snowed in this morning, and with any luck that will continue until the weekend. How's everyone doing?

((Dina!))

Thought so when I didn't hear back from someone immediately. :) I got your email in response to mine. I'll write back this weekend.

How's your day going?

Cinder Spires Books / Re: Audio Edition?
« on: May 25, 2015, 08:31:59 PM »
Given that most of Jim's work is available in audio book format, I would think this one would be as well.

I went to Audible and searched: "The Cinder Spires: the Aeronaut's Windlass". It found THE BOOK (give me the book), so I log into Audible and it says: "We're sorry. Due to publishing rights restrictions, we are not authorized to sell this item in the country where you live." That sucks I cannot pre-order yet, however it does kind of hint that it will be available at some point.
If you want the spectacularly vague page: http://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/The-Aeronauts-Windlass-Audiobook/B00XKCNARK/ref=a_search_c4_1_1_srTtl?qid=1432580337&sr=1-1
I'm able to preorder this version, so I think if you are in the US or Canada this link should work.

You guys are the front line, you know.  I can't be everywhere (don't tell my kids.)
When it comes to being a mom, Blaze, us mothers are everywhere and hear as well as see EVERYTHING. ;)

Apparently Russian hackers get bored easily. ;D

Sorry, bad joke. I have no idea. There's a lot of Russian-language hacking happening over on LiveJournal too. I have no clue why.

Yay, thank you!

The surge in spammy accounts just means that the forum's now a "happening place". :D

I'll report back if there are more.

I'd assume so. There's usually a countdown leading up to the release date.

Priscellie may have more information about these.

I'm pretty sure the Kindle version will be out with the hard cover. It always is. Sometimes it just takes longer for the Kindle listing to go up, that's all.

Cinder Spires Books / Re: Timing Question
« on: December 22, 2014, 08:44:31 PM »
Four to six months would be my guess.
Yes, you're right. 4 to 6 months sounds correct, 2 months not so much. In my defense, I was undercaffeinated. ;D

Google says May 7th, 2015.  And Google is never wrong.
Indeed.

I know, I know. Was just trying on these here smartypants. :) Also, "ma'am" would be correct, "man" not so much.
