   In all these years and after thousands of threads is there any ideas that have not been debated past the point of sanity. I ask because it seems a common feeling that the lack of activity is due to "no new material" and "rehashing old arguments." For those of all us that are still visiting this forum (and hopefully visit its resurrection to foreign lands wherever that land may be) I think it would be good to discuss any notion, topic, or WAG that did not receive its 720 degree coverage. Just for tickles and giggles.

   The news of the forums closing is the most talked about topic. And, rightly so. But, we should talk about other things as well. So, just shooting some ideas in the air and see where they land.
Book 16 (PT) Lara risks exposure as power behind the throne. Old King goes bye-bye and new puppet King Thomas reigns.
Book 17 (MM) Molly rescues Harry from alternative timeline and Murphy becomes Fed advisor.
Book 18 (Fight Night) Hercules is murdered and Harry does locker room/parlor mystery scene.
Book 19 (unknown) Mavra tries to take down Harry. Big Mistake!
Book 20 (unknown) Demonreach is breached and Ivy has turned bad.

    Many of us have heard the WOJ about how Dresden File was created as a writing class project. How he came up with 20 plotlines and the BAT idea. Now, let's imagine what we think each of those plotlines were that summarize each book. Here is my initial thoughts:
1. Harry is blamed for a crime commited by an evil sorceror.
2. Harry saves mob boss from rogue werewolf feds.
3. Harry chases ghosts at a vampire party.
4. Ex-girlfriend involves Harry in Fae war.
5. Harry rescues holy relic from demons.
6. Harry discovers unknown brother.
7. Harry saves friend's daughter from Fae. (going with original idea of PG being Book 7)
8. Harry blackmailed into finding god-making book. (going with original idea of DB being Book 8)
9. Harry searches for witch-killer.
10. Harry repays debt by rescuing girl from demons.
11. Harry proves wizard's innocence in murder.
12. Harry saves his unknown daughter from vampires.
13. Harry learns what it is like to be ghost.
14. Harry ordered to kill daughter.
15.Harry steals holy relic for demon.
16.Harry helps his brother and father-to-be. (Guess)
17.Harry becomes prisoner in another world. (Guess)
18. Harry solves the murder of wrestling god. (Guess)
19. Harry loses powers. (Guess)
20. Harry suffers death of family member. (Guess)
BAT1. An allout war starts. (Guess)
BAT2. Good guys are losing war. (Guess)
BAT3. Final battle. (Guess)
    I try to be as vague and general as possible since many characters and groups were probably not named until later. Also, my memory of future books is weak.  I will try to ammend phrasing with later posts. So, who wants to play?

DF Spoilers / Marcone and his knowledge/experience with the supernatural/magic prior to SF

Since Marcone has been a frequent topic recently, I thought a discussion on how much he knew or saw of the non-normal prior to SF might be interesting.
Some points I have been thinking about are: his willingness to buy off a recognized "charlatan" of magic, his state of preparedness for Harry's soulgaze, his unusual acceptance of magic as a cause of death, and his less skeptical attitude when compared with Murphy and others that have been exposed to the supernatural.
I believe that sometime during Marcone's military and criminal career he witness supernatural acts. I would not be surprised that he changed his name due to being related to or a known associate of a magic user. Having a dossier on Harry, due to his police connections or his public claims of being a wizard, would be well within Marcone SOP.
Anyone else's thoughts on the matter?

The Harry in the book was baseline from the beginning of SF with some coverage of the first 10 books. Has anyone made an updated WK Harry to show the differences and improvements that have occurred since the beginning?
