There was a lady cop of 5’0,LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who steadfastly refused to grow,
When attacked by a troll,
Her eyes she did roll,
And gave it maximum woe.
Not clear is the virginity requirement that was poor Carlos's undoing with Molly. Lara is no virgin, and I cannot see her forgoing her pleasures even if she cannot feed anymore. Unless Mab wants her as her own replacement, as Queen of Winter.I too was thinking of Lara more as a replacement for Mab. IMO this role would be more fitting for her. And therefore Molly staying the Lady. It would make sense keeping Lara close. Maybe one of the reasons for the marriage. So that she is already there as a new vessel, when the mantle of Winter Queen is set free.
Priscellie: Joshua Matthews asks "if someone with multiple personalities or mantles like Kringle were imprisoned on the island, could only one part be released and other parts left in prison?"
Jim: Ooh that's a good question. Yeah I mean theoretically yeah you could. That would work really really well if the warden was using that to get specific services out of somebody without wanting to expose people to certain dangers. If Harry for example captured Kringle on the island for example he might want to send him out as Kringle or as anything /but/ Kringle so you can go forth and do whatever you're doing Odin but I'm keeping Kringle right here because I know he's the source of your immortality, you can come get him out on Christmas Eve.
So, no, I did not read the entire series, but I was wondering if some of you that reread now can help me with something. In which book Harry has something that seems like a memory of Demonreach and someone (Luccio, I believe) told him it is a premonition, something that wizards have.I think that must have been in Small Favor. The first time he sets a foot on the island. And Luccio is there, too.
I really don't want to see Harry having more kids so I hope the marriage is not consummated (because, even when we know it is difficult for a white vampire to get pregnant, it is just Harry's luck).
Jim said he had microfiction about it that will come out as Dresden Drops.Gimme gimme gimme!!!!
Neither am I. It's just my pet theory and head cannon until Jim tells me otherwise. But maybe Mab. I mean, if she created the bloodline with Merlin... One would understand Outsiders to want Mab dead. This would directly influence the power over the Outer Gates.
I didn't think anyone assumed it was true that Harry is an ancestor Merlin. Just that there's enough there for it to be predicted. I go the extra step and say that Merlin was Odin's son. I don't claim it's true. I just think it would make Chichen Itza make even more sense. That curse was way overpowered if Eb was the ultimate target. That curse killed gods. You might be onto something. It does seem a bit much just to kill some grumpy old Blackstaff wizard.
