DFRPG / Faith Power Thoughts
« on: July 16, 2015, 12:25:01 AM »
I was toying around with True Faith power ideas to help someone and thought of this. Any recommendations or changes?

Wielder of Faith - (-1) Requires the Righteousness and Holy Touch Powers.
Your Faith is so profound, it's like a physical force. You can bless mundane objects and imbue them with the power of your Faith for a short time.
Pay 1 FP, choose one mundane object, for the remainder of the scene it gains the following powers:
Holy
Holy Aura (this object projects an aura of holy light similar to a Sword of the Cross)
After the scene is over, the object becomes mundane again.

This object is usable by anyone you hand it too that does not have Holy items as a Catch.

DFRPG / Help with a were-lynx
« on: May 06, 2015, 05:24:50 AM »
Hey guys, I'm going to be making a Were-Form (Lynx) character for a campaign, and since It's my first time doing so, I wanted to run this by you and get some feedback for the Echoes power.

Powers:

Echoes Of The Beast [-1]
Beast Trappings: open for suggestion.

Beast Sense: +1 Alertness when sight/hearing is a factor. (considered adding smell here as well but wasn't sure)
Beast Friend: Feline

Beast Change [-1]

Human Form [+1]

Natural Weaponry (Claws) [-1]

Inhuman Speed [-2]

Cloak of Shadows [-1]

Total Refresh Cost:
-5

How does this look to you guys? Any improvements would be appreciated.

EDIT: Added Cloak of Shadows as per MadAlchemist's suggestion which leaves my Beast Trapping open.

DFRPG / Question about teamwork actions.
« on: March 23, 2015, 09:47:29 AM »
I checked the teamwork rules (YS P. 208) and it seems like it can be used in combat based on the text, but I want to be sure. So I was wondering:

Can teamwork actions be used in combat to create taggable aspects?

If so, is the target number still one or two less like on page 208 of YS?

Would it be possible for a player character to open a way in front of a charging opponent, the opponent go through it, and the PC close it?

If so, can someone give me a breakdown of how they would structure it assuming the PC has a Superb (+5) conviction and discipline?
