When Harry was a frightened teenager, he wanted Leah to provide him the power to defeat Justin.  She basically gave him confidence but did things to make him think she was giving him power.  One of those things was draining his blood.  Blood has great power, and can be used by wizards to control you.  I'm wondering if Leah did that, and traded his blood to someone who then used it to control Dresden.

The White Council has come to realize the Black Council is real.  They kicked Dresden out knowing that eventually he would be contacted by the Black Council to be recruited.  They want Dresden to accept, and go undercover (they will hold something over him to do it).... 

Location?  Guests?  Harry's best man? 

I'm thinking it will be a Winter Wedding.  I'm thinking it's going to be a very big deal.  Mother Winter will even be there.  Kringle conducts the service.

Like I said, the Blackstaff chooses the wielder.  I really don't know if it's the Staff or if it's the person wielding it that decides.  Anyways who do you see getting it?  Besides Dresden, Luccio, and Carlos I can't think of likely candidates.  If you come up with other names, I will add them to the poll.

Harry makes lots of mistakes but I'm looking for what you think are big critical ones that will return some how in future books.  Here are some of mine.

1.  Handing over the Book of Kemmler to Mavra.  She was blackmailing him, but was protecting a friend from her career getting ruined worth handing over a book like that to a monster?  I don't think so, and I imagine it's going to come up again.

2.  Staking claim to Demon Reach.  This was a really big move, and it seems to have worked out well for him.  That being said, Jim said "He's going to wish he never stepped foot on that Island".  So I imagine it was a bad move.

3.  Splitting up Bob.  Seemed like a good idea, but I think Evil Bob is out there, allied with who knows who.  He had access to horrible knowledge.  Can't imagine that will end well.

4.  Killing the entire Red Court.  Some of that may be becoming apparent already with the Fomor.  I'm wondering if Harry will realize he had another option, and the one he chose was the wrong one.  As a wizard I'm wondering if he could have worked out a spell, and used that source of power for something else, rather than sacrifice Susan and wipe out out the Red's.

Just some off the top of my head.  Can you think of some critical decisions he made that may have appeared right but will return to haunt him later?

Ok I thought I read on here that Jim said there was information in Storm Front that nobody picked up on or words to that effect.  Am I remembering that correctly?  Has anyone else heard this?

If so what are your Storm Front theories?  Here is one of mine.


Sells had been manipulated by either Nemesis, or the Black Council.  The entropy curse was actually designed to target Bianca's friend, not Marcone's bodyguard.  It was a round about way of getting Harry killed by Bianca (or for him to killer her, and cause conflict).  It nearly worked too.  "You killed her"  "you killed Jennifer.  She was mine, mageling."  She then nearly rips him apart.  So either she kills him, or he kills her in her home, which puts the White Council in a very awkward situation.  Fortunately Harry was actually able to talk his way out of it.  Something the Black Council didn't think he was capable of.  Still, she ended up overfeeding and killing her lover after this confrontation leading to her going after him later.  So it actually did work in the long run (if that was the plan)

Why not hit Harry directly?  I'm not sure they can.  For whatever reason they have to do things in a very covert way.

My other theory is that 3 Eye was being distributed to create conduits for Nemesis.  All the people who used it were made vulnerable to Nemesis, and therefor the eyes, and ears of that entity.

There is more information from this text, but don't know what it all means:

"Wizard!" he trumpeted. "Wizard I see you!  I see you, wizard!  I see the things that follow, those who walk before and He Who Walks Behind!  They come, they come for you!"

Obviously he see's Behind.  I think he's also seeing Before but doesn't say "He", instead "those who walk before".  Sounds like more than one, and not a Walker.  "things that follow"?  I don't know what that means either.  Whatever he's seeing, it's bad, and I don't think it's been fully explained yet.

I think if/when Eb dies, the readers will get a big information dump in the form of his journals.  Eb as the Black Staff, Warden Leader, and all the journals he has from master and apprentice going back to Merlin will have a ton of information. I also suspect that Eb had Maggie's journals.  So Harry will inherit them, and at some point will begin reading them.  I think this will be a clever way of dropping a lot of information to us.

If this is to happen, what kind of information Harry will gain?  What secrets will be revealed?
