DF Spoilers / Peace Talks Prediction Bingo Thing

I didn't see one of this for this book, so I figured I'd start a thread.  What do you think will be happening in this book?  Who lives?  Who dies?  What changes to the status quo will there be?  Who dunnit?  With the preview chapters in mind, what will Lara request of Mab?  And so on?

DF Spoilers / Another Cowl Theory

There's a variety of threads talking about how Cowl is Justin, or Simon, or other characters.  And while I can't explicitly rule them out because so much of the speculation involved is just speculation with little proof, I just don't like the idea.

So, here's my idea with very little about it, and then the question.  My idea is that Cowl is some relatively minor character in the White Council Harry has never met before.  He's been avoiding Harry since they first ran into each other, just to be safe.  From a plot point, I expect that Harry will unmask Cowl before he knows his identity, and then later will see him at the Council to then put a name to the face.

My question for you then is, assuming that it plays out like I think it will, which I admit is pure speculation, how will Harry react?  An immediate attack?  Denunciation in front of everyone?  Silence and then a personal interrogation session once they're alone?  Some other response?

CD Book Club / Do we still need this forum posted at the top of the page of DF Spoilers?

It's been over 4 years since there had been any posts, almost 5 since any substantive action, but it just hangs out at the top of the page whenever you load the main forum, taking up space.  Ditto the Ghost Story sub-forum.  Is it possible to move these to some archive or something?

Site Suggestions & Support / Trimming of dead subforums

Apparently my first post on the subject was deleted as part of server transition backup shenanigans or whatever.

But can we maybe move some of the subforums to an archived spot?  I mostly hang out in DF Spoilers, and at the top of the page are discussion forums for Ghost Story and Cold Days (but not Skin Game) and those are both dead now for several years.  And longer for any substantive discussion.  I'm sure other sections would probably benefit from some trimming of the dead wood.  If nothing else we'd have to scroll down less.

DF Spoilers / Grey Council Members Poll Yet Again, Supernaturals Only

Once again, let's talk Grey Council Members.  Who do you think is on it, likely to be on it, or might be on it?  So far the confirmed members are Harry, Eb, and Odin.  Jim has said that we've met 6 others who are as yet not confirmed.  This poll is solely for the Supernatural creatures, fae, shape shifters, demon possessed folks, etc...

I will probably be missing several strong candidates, so feel free to chime in with other options.

Site Suggestions & Support / Request a purge of sticky threads

The issue was brought up in the DF Spoilers forum, but it was suggested that this would be a more appropriate place for it.

I (and others) have noticed that there are a LOT of sticky threads that just hang out forever, even, literally, years after the last person posted in them  (and often the post is a request to unsticky it).  So far two were removed, but I think there's still several threads that could be trimmed.

For example, in the DF spoilers, there's a thread specifically for saying it's Spoilers OK and that it's an On Topic board, which could probably be combined into one general rules thread?  And maybe Early Spoiler Rules, since the thread we have now is for Ghost Story, about which there's nothing early.

Likewise, the Skin Game Predictathon is outdated, and even locked, so I suppose that's just here for bragging rights now?

Also, it was mentioned that the Book Club subforums are fairly dead as well, and we don't even have one for the most recent book.

My suggestion would be to have four sticky threads (and this is DF Spoilers specific, other forums would be different); a combined "Rules" thread, a "request help finding topics" thread, an Interview thread for all the media and publicity stuff Jim does, and a general clearinghouse of questions to ask.  And maybe not even that last one, since it was last used over a year ago.

And then just the DF Reference subforum, and remove/archive the book club ones.
