To be honest, I stopped coming to these boards because of that mab = murphy theory being shoehorned into almost every thread I looked at. Even if everyone ignores you you'll just post it over and over again in the same thread until it dies because no one wants to look at it anymore.

I'm 100% sure I'm not the only person you've driven off these boards.

If he writes them for the next twenty years and never completes them i'll still be happier than if he F@*)s it up by cutting it too short though. I've seen series ruined by trying to crunch a story into the allotted books and failing. *cough*inheritance cycle*cough*
Even Sanderson has fallen for this one. Anyone else read The Reckoners? It was good until the last book, and then it seemed like he forgot he had to finish the series until about half way through so he crammed it all together and didn't read back over it.

Lucí gave the Denarians access to his power (they used it to super charge 2 pentagram). Uriel have Harry access to his own soul, which he can use whenever. Just like Lucifer doesn't get a new chance to exert his power every time Harry uses soul fire, Uriel doesn't get a reaction every time they use the pentagram. I feel like this is pretty straight forward

This was my theory from a few years ago but the debbie doubters here didn't take it up.

It makes sense with dresden stepping on the island because then Rashid would be able to see the power levels in Harry skyrocket

As far as I'm aware the spires are landed spacecraft or something similar. I believe this is a 3rd planet that he's created but it may also have races from earth or even alera.

Is there any evidence that they have gunpowder? I can't bring any to mind. They would have to have access to volcanic hotsprings to get the sulfur or certain caves for the saltpeter. The charcoal is easily to obtain, if horrifically expensive.

A lift crystal is better; no moving parts and probably greater efficiency.
Yeah, but a lift crystal does just that. They need a propel crystal.

Which, come to think of it, wouldn't that just be an altered lift crystal? Why do they need the webs at all when they can just have a ton of lift crystals that lift in different directions?

Couldn't they just make a helicopter that runs off electricity instead of fuel? Like, they have an endless source of electricity and from the looks of it it generates far more energy than a battery of the same size

They could be a magical created version of stalagmites and stalactites but in this form of the spire. The material needed drawn from the very mists surrounding it, easy bet that those mists are not just water, they are sure to contain something unique, and the spires leach the stuff for its own form.
They get their water from the mists so unless they have a heavy filtering process then it's just water

Assuming Tavi is part of a lost Roman legion, it's 2000 years roughly since they got to Alera.  That would easily put them at the same time.  Dresden being related is a stretch, since the whole legion was swallowed.  He'd have to have been related to a family member that wasn't swallowed by the portal 2000 years in advance.  Just stretches the imagination.
Well, all the knights so far are related to the same king so it's not that hard to believe

Cats are on ships to deal with the rat population that invariably shows up. Maybe there aren't rats on that world so it never became a crossover?

I know the WoJ about Dresden and Alera happening at the same time. That comparison was to illustrate Alera's historical development. It did not suggest conneted universes, at least not to me.
Both the Alera and Dresden Storyworlds are fictional versions of our own, yes. But are they the same fictional version? There is nothing to suggest that.

Unless that WoJ about Harry and Tavi sharing a bloodline exists, which i don't know.
They're part of the cosmere. Well, Jim's version anyways

Typically in the US, peppermints are red and white.  You can sometimes find green and white ones, though.
Peppermint is red and white, spearmint is green and white

I could see harry developing magic or techniques that mimic fury crafting or etherialists.
I couldn't. Fury crafting reminds me a lot of channeling spells, and harry exclusively does one offs

Alera and Dresden are connected in that the original settlers from Alera are from earth. They are the lost roman legion
