I know a lot of people have wondered about who cowl is. Some people wondered who was driving the car that hit Harry. Others have wondered many other things. If you can have one question answered in 12 months what would it be?
For me it's something that I've wondered since Storm Front. Who was the woman that helped Harry in the final battle?

I can't see him as Loki. Not really his style. Also, to hide from Harry this long would be a major thing. He would have to escaped soul gaze, 3rd eye drug and Odin.

Its not rage bait. There has to be a reason he's been in so many storylines. Seriously, how many times has he been there to mess things up. How many books has he been in where he did the worst thing at the time but somehow escapes with no consequences. He even got promotions. Since book 1 he's been there.
1. Donald Morgan, dead
2. Murphy, dead
3. Bianca, dead
4. Carmichael, dead
5. Susan, dead
6. Marcone is alive.
Most of the characters in that book are dead. The rest have at some point helped Harry at some point. There has to be a reason. Do I despise Rudy? He might be one of my least favorite characters EVER.

The wait for a new owner has been long and has been brought up in multiple books. Here are some reasons it may be the least likeable Dresden verse character.
1. Shiro became a Christian because he wanted to see Elvis. Sanya used to follow the nickleheads. Butters is a jew. So obviously left field wieldeders is not unheard of.
2. Rudy has been around since the beginning. He was introduced before just about anybody besides Murphy. There has to be a reason.
3. It would be an interesting choice since its the sword of Love. Considering what happened in Battleground.
4. Jim loves making Harry's life difficult.

Plus, we are looking at Harry a year later. He's had time to heal. We have no idea what state he'll be in after 12 months. Maybe he finally admits Molly is the best choice for him. That's my opinion BTW. Maybe he and Lara seal the deal on wedding night. We just don't know.

See, here's the thing. What if the mirror mirror version of Susan was a simple homemaker with kids. She than offers Harry a chance to just give up and have a storybook life. No monsters. No courts. A family life that he could raise his daughter. He'd be free of the winter knight contract. Think how painful it would be to turn that down. Remember in Summer Knight I think when the summer lady gave him a brief moment free from his pain. Think how much more pain he's in now. That's why I think the Susan one will be harder. Because he KNOWS Murphy will hurt to see.

Jim is full steam ahead writing 12 months which got me thinking. Who would cause Harry the biggest emotional punch, Susan or Murphy? Because we all know how much Harry's life is one big punching bag for life.
1. Susan. Let's be honest, the bad moments involving her are heart wrenching. I mean at the end he had to kill her. Plus every day he sees their child. How much time was pent looking for a cure?
2. Murphy. It most likely will still be fairly recent that it happened. There's a long history before they even started dating. He knows her murderer is running free.

So in cold days. Mab danced with Harry to the song 45 by shinedown ( fantastic song BTW ) Was wondering if perhaps the song was a foreshadowing of what was to come? Grant it the song itself is not about the gun but more growing up in the world as an adult. Which is what Molly ended up doing in a way.

For the life of me I can't remember his name but the guy in Skin Game who lost his tongue. Ended up leaving the nickleheads. Most likely I'll remember who he is at 3 in the morning. Since he's been associated with the Denarians the council wouldn't touch him.

I don't know about spell. But I feel like using more potions or that bear buckle thing ( life of me can't remember what book or what's it called ) is called for.
