For those attending NYCC:  If you see a Molly walking around on Saturday, say hi! :D

i am not attending NYCC, because i live on the opposite side of the country, so if you don't post pictures i will call you a mean person to all my friends in California.  and some people who are not my friends, just for good measure.  ;)

My eyes saw "Jim" and "Comic-Con," and I started to do a little happy dance, before my eyes registered "New York."

*mope* but... but... San Diego is prettier.  (Yes, I know I'm greedy.  Yes, I know he was here signing 2 years in a row, and I hear rumor that it might be three, but... COMIC-CON!)

it's not fair - last year was my first time going to Comicon in SD and i didn't know about the Dresden Files then!  if Jim is reading this - please come back to sunny California!  San Francisco for example, would love to have you  ;)

Author Craft / Re: Fanfiction - Good or Evil?
« on: February 17, 2007, 02:43:53 AM »
the problem i have with fanfic, whenever i've been inspired to look for it, is the same problem i have with any group of highly excited people - some of them are Crazy People, a lot of them are just over excited, and maybe two of them have something interesting to contribute.
unless you can write your own stuff, i would stay out of the realms of fanfic.
that being said, go write fanfic!  write away, USE those characters like puppets, and then, as someone else said, HIDE IT FOREVER.
