Might have been faster drive to the warehouse and get it yourself!

An update:  http://www.deadlyfredly.com/2010/07/some-lessons-from-kinda-screwing-up/

I too want to thank Fred for being up front and transparent, it takes guts to do that.  That being said, the consumer part of me that pre-ordered is still annoyed and impatient that it hasn't gotten here yet.  Oh well...maybe next week.

I may be impatient and wanting my books, but I am still happy with the service provided by Evil Hat.  I should still be getting my books when I originally thought I would.

Technically, they are cops for all mortals.  The 7th law for instance, applies even to people who have no connection to the magic community.  And changelings still get counted as technical mortals.  They get jerked around by both their parent courts and by any mortal authorities.
I think this would fall in the Grey Area... however the laws could be interpreted to apply to all PCs....

I like the mechanics you are using although, I would just only apply the 2nd stress to any information garnered after the 1st.... and let the stress go away as normal with all stress...

Or you can just use the same mechanics as an evocation, with extra shifts = extra information.... or something like that.

I would think that telepathy would be covered under supernatural senses. The real problem with telepathy is that it violates the laws of magic, so if you use it the wardens will try to kill you.

Doesn't that only count if you are a wizard concept?

It's not like they go around killing Fae for poking around in people's minds.

Try to be thematic.... Try to be as descriptive as possible when describing the scene and the situation...

I like to plot out 2-3 different story lines and toss out a hooks to see which one the PCs are interested in ...

Flesh out major NPCs to make them more hated by the PCs...

Personally, I like to try to setup the scene and then ask what the PCs are doing and move on from what they want.  Sometimes I have NPCs villians act out their plans on a time line if the PCs are not doing anything to interfere.

DMW has a lot of good points.

#1 Rule, make it fun for all parties.

The symbols in the margins of the books would be fitting, as well as trees, snowflakes, flames, fangs, swords, crosses, paws, claw marks, the sun and moon. . .

Debating on creating mine from the books....  Not sure how much time Id have to do the project though.

How sturdy is the play-dough after drying?  Will it hold up to a 4ft drop?

Actually, it also ignores their extra 4 Stress Boxes too. So it's significantly better even than a grenade or hitting them with a car.

Ah ha I knew I missed something. Thanks for filling in the pieces people.

GM's call, but it likely works as a normal attack with the Weapons skill, and a Weapon value at GM discretion. I'd give it a Weapon value of 2 or so, myself.

They ignore any Toughness powers the Fae has, since they're the Fae's Catch. See YS p. 185 for details.

Ah thanks.  I was having a hard time finding the rules for satisfying the catch without the real books. (kicks UPS).

So weapon 2 seems fair for holy water?  Seems a bit low considering a pistol does the same...

What kind of dmg do you think the handkerchief of sunlight did to Bianca?

Okay so here is a question...

How much damage does a holy water balloon do to a RCV?

Does a silver bullet do more damage to a werewolf?

How does Iron bullets do more harm to the Fae?

Just trying to figure out the mechanics...

I understand a holy symbol can be used as block against vampires, but how do we calculate dmg?

Just talked to my Muslim friend and he gave me some good suggestions so I thought I would share.  With pronunciations to boot!

Uli albass (Those who strike first) - "ooli el albaas"
Al-Lajna (The Council) - "al laj na"
Al-Akhwan (The Brothers) "al ik waan"
Al-Ansar (The Supporters (of God)) - "al ansaar"
Mujahideen Alnour (Warriors of Light) -"Moo jah hid deen al noor"

BTW if you read this Moe, thanks!

There's a motorcycle gang clubhouse on Fenkell, not too far from where I lived, and for the life of me I cannot remember the gang's name.

Ha.  I need the leader's names... Like Joe Shmoe.

Having a hard time getting the names together.

As for the gang names... that was just a little bit of research.

Bloods (seems like they have a chapter everywhere)
Coneyonlys (Detroit Gang)
Detroit Highwaymen (Detroit Motorcycle Gang)
