So i have this idea for a wizard who uses music genre's for evocatin elements instead of the standard set. So my question is what counts as a music genre and would using music magic to alter the emotions of others violate any of the laws of magic. So far for genre's i have Blues, Rock, Metal and Punk. I'm trying not to go too far into the little sub genre like German black metal and things like that. Also how would this work for thuam. Any help would be much liked.

so for my first backup charcter in the new orlens game were running id like to be a guitar god. as in he's a scion of a god known for music and has magic that is powered through music. the idea is that i use music genre's instead of emlemts for my evocation. so my question is where do i draw the line at a genre and what are some good aspect for this guy so far i've got high concept Guitar god. trouble low key is a problem which means he has a hard time controlling his powers and the las one is dragonforce is to slow. so any help with more music themed aspects would be a big help.

Ok I'm trying to make a a martial artist in the vein of Himura Kenshin or Roronoa Zoro. and im thinking of modifying evocation to do most of the hard work for me. So my thoughts are to remove the counter spell ability, and focus items. And to work a feeding requirement of some sort. so if any one has any better thoughts or a much simpler way to do this i would love the help.
