In the pic, I'm the redhead standing next to MathGeek, aka Butters, and his really nice wife, Gard.

The Ms. and I will be dressed as Ms. Gard and Butters respectively.  We plan on getting there some time between 5:30 and 6 (depending on traffic, Google maps has us getting there at 5) so dinner sounds good.  I just discovered Jim last year so this is my first signing.  ;D
You guys were awesome!! Loved the conversation and the costumes! How great was JB, right?! I'm going to try to get the pics up tonight.

I am SO looking forward to tomorrow! Are we there yet? Are we there yet?! ;D

Naperville Long-Term Parking

After 9 a.m. all-day parking is available in the following locations:
Central Parking Facility:  Level 3
Van Buren Parking Deck:  Level 2 – Roof Level
Municipal Center Parking Deck:  Weekdays (after 5 p.m.) and Saturday, Lower Level and Upper Level

So, it sounds as if the Central and Van Buren lots are safe to park in for an extended time period, on the upper levels, in case someone wants a place to park without worrying about the 2-3 hour limit.
Thank you SO much for the info...spent waaay too much time at work today Googling the area for parking info.

Personally, I think that men or women simply take what they admire/dislike from the other and use that as a springboard...as in attitudes, mannerisms, speaking. For instance, men are much choppier speaking to other men then a women speaking to other women. Good luck!!!

Author Craft / Re: Need help with a Writing Problem, Please

As a screenwriter and librarian, the best advice anyone can give is...just write. Of course it's gonna be crap the first few times, but then...not so crappy. Then it moves to not quite bad, followed by it's not totally awful, then maybe I can show it to someone who's not my mom. And if you keep it up...who knows? It's not what you write. It's how much do you NEED to write?

There's so many excellent writers at this one....Where's the magic carpet when you need it? And a big ol' pot of gold to get in. Do I dare go from Chicago and call it my early Christmas present? Gah!
