Do you mind if I edit your list to make it a bit more orderly?  I won't change any of your commentary, of course.  I just want to make the formatting a bit easier on the eyes. :D

I finally got to listen to the interview. Pretty good. I wished the other two read the books so they could have contributed more to the interview. Finally I know what Jim's dog bree is. lol.

Man, I really wish there were more text interviews. I read several times times faster than any comprehensible human speech, and that makes it agony to listen to audio/video interviews for information.

I understand that almost everyone preferes information whatever form it takes. Personally, I prefer written things, but that is because I can't understand very well oral English. And that, of course, is my problem. Anyway, I hope that if really BIG NEWS appear, they will be discussed here, so I will know :-)

For the same reason a lot of people like to see apocaliptic movies (just to clarify, I'm one of them~): it's fun. And not only in a gore kind of way, because the destruction reach everything. It's so cool, specially if YOU'RE the one destroying it (that would guarantee you don't get "destroyed" too). The special effects in one's mind help to make things more shiny *__*.

Or maybe I'm weird.

Anyway, this isn't exactly "destroying". Jim's still creating his universe, his story. But for that story to work, some things (inside the story itself) need to be destroyed. It isn't the same as throwing your work to the garbage can. He's creating and destroying at the same time ;D.

Seeing apocalyptic movies is different because you didn't built the world that is destroyed.
Ad just to clarify, I don't think you are weird. I think I am the "rare" persona who don't like to destroy her work. Anyway, I see your point about Jim, but I was talking in general, not specifically for the Dresden Files.

Interesting to now that he had about 20 ideas one idea for each book and that sometimes it is replaced with a better idea.
The podcast also tells the story behind his picture in the back of the books.

I'm keeping the Every DF WoJ I can find+ List of Jim's Interviews & Q&As (Series Spoilers) (http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,21772.0.html) sticky current with new interviews (as well as any old ones I find, and managed to ferret out about half a dozen a couple weekends ago).  I had been keeping an eye out for Enj's posting of these vid's since he announced that he was going to post them a couple months ago, and linked them in the other sticky the day they came out.

meh, it's not my thread to stick a fork in.  I pretty much declared my first version of the WoJ compilation dead and asked the mods to clean it out and that didn't happen. 

If you find something to share and post it in either thread I am likely to catch it and add it to what I'm maintaining pretty quickly.

BTW, I have been spending my time on other projects lately (and RL stuff of course) so I haven't gotten my latest pledge done, but I'm always hoping more are willing to help with dictations of audio/video WoJ's (http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,22558.msg972614.html#msg972614).  It's time consuming and kinda tedious so the more people that are willing to put their hand in and get a nibble done, the easier the load is on everyone that participates.

As it is, I probably won't be able to sit down and do my next bite until after Marscon
