Anyone here know an Author name Patrica Briggs? I saw one of her books at the Libary today, and it looked like a good read, but it was like the eleventh book in the series. Has anyone here read her books before? And if so, can you tell me your opinion on them?

I didn't read a any of her books, but I read a short story of hers in an Anthology. I liked the writing and the story was quite entertaining.

Do you mean the Mercy Thompson books. They are great. Love them. It is best to start with the first one: Moon Called.
I believe I have read everything written by her. And if I find something new, I buy it instantly.

That's the book I saw at my Local Libary n_n ! Though the Authors Name was diffrent...or maby I was looking at the wrong name? Anyway, I'm honna order the first book next time I'm at the Libary n_n ! Thanks Reg n_n !

No, you were right. I think thats a misunderstanding: the author is Patricia Briggs. The main character of the books is called Mercy Thompson.
She is a coyote shapeshifter who grew up in a werewolf pack.
The stories are fun to read. Mercy tends to attract a lot of trouble. ;)

Hey Otlan. A day late and very short. Patricia Briggs is very good. Try her Dragon Blood/Dragon Bones pair. Only two, that I know of, in that series.

Hi, everybody.
I just visited P. Briggs' website and have discovered, that there is already a release date for the next Mercy Thompson book. March 10, 2020. And it is called 'Smoke Bitten'.
Also there is a Mercy spin-of series called 'Alpha and Omega' that I am following. It's nice and tends to be more romantic but not too much. There is also blood and gore. ;) The next book there should be out somewhere in 2021.
I have read most of her novels and about half of the short stories. There was only one novel that didn't quite catch me. Maybe I started at a bad time.
The Dragon pair was good.
And there are at least two anthologies with stories from both her and Jim Butcher. Thats why they sounded so familiar. Strange Brew and Naked City.

Tnat's what I'm gonna read after I get caught up with the Mercy series n_n . I'm already up to River Crossed, I've been devouring them XD . She's an amazeing Auther n_n !

I like the bit in the Mercy Thompson series where she's driving the van with one of the werewolves and he's changed and is hanging his head out the window like any dog. And she's thinking that at the next stop they're trading places. LOL

I freaking Love Stefan XD !! All the charcters are grate, but any undead man that drives the Mystery Machine with a stuffed Scooby Doo and dresses like Shaggy can't be Evil XD .
