Empanadas. We often have them with pizza. They are "dough bags" with different fillings. Classically, cow meat. Also, ham & cheese, spinach & cream, onion & cheese, corn cream. Things like that. Yesterday I have one of mozzarella & onion and another of mozarella, tomato and basil. Delicious. Argentinians love empanadas.
And now I have access from work so I'll be around a bit more frequently...8)

It's been a long, expensive weekend...part by cause by design (dropped nearly $700+ on car for payment, replacement set of tires and minor repair), part by medical issue (eyes were hurting so bad Friday morning on my way to work I had to turn around and come home because my brain was literally shutting down...going to see Eye Doc in a bit about that at least...hope I can make that in one piece...). My world has no Jagers, its not about humanity fighting the monsters, its about the ruins of humanity that gather around the various Kaiju for both protection and worship of the Kaiju. In exchange they take care of the Kaiju in the down-time between when they have to defend their territory form other Kaiju or the occasional "Arena" battle for additional resources.
So really its Kaiju fighting Kaiju with humanity just trying to survive, though some Humans can form a Psychic Bond with and Ride the Kaiju.

As for activity, night time dose seem to be the most active time, but I try to be here when I can.
I was reading an article the other day about how much the robotic hands have improved in a relatively short time. So it is true a few years can make a big difference.

A friend of mine made an Awesome Odin eye-patch from the Thor series.
Sadly I don't think it can be used on either eye but might get her to make me one that does cause its pretty cool. Also double duty as a prop for a Mutant Chronicles character I play...8D

been super-distracting of late.
On top of the still-healing leg and ongoing eye issues I manage to break a tooth vertically.
So had to go to the Dentist yesterday and have it extracted. It had to come out in a bunch of pieces which as it turns out was WAY less painful than having a whole tooth pulled out!).
Swelling is mostly gone and the bleeding has stopped so that should be a quick recovery.
Speaking of eye issue, saw my eye doctor and got the latest round of crap cleaned out
and discussed the next stage of treatment; squirting my own blood into my eye...
Sounds gross but what it entails is me getting six vials of blood drawn, taking it to a special pharmacy here in town where the spin it down and extra the serum/plasma. That is put into droppers (presumably with other material) and I have to use that 5 times a day for pretty much
the rest of my life barring coming up with some way to cure it permanently.
The only really bad part is that its probably a fairly expensive treatment...8P
I've visited 2 doctors today and got asked to do several studies, so they are planning to keep me busy. For instance, tomorrow I need 8 hours of total food and liquid abstinence. Annoying.You also need to rise above your body's desires, sit indian style while contemplating the universe, your inner self, and your place in the world.

It involved several days of preparation (deciding criteria and such things), then we had a written...exam, for saying something. And then we will have to conduct some oral interviews and then analyzing all the resumés.

I mainly study them for two reasons: generic basic biology (what you learn about a species can be useful to understand other species) and agriculture research (those flies ruin many fruits and it is useful to find ways to combat them without using awful chemicals)

Looks like a weird week, electrically speaking, Otlan. a plug broke in an electricity socket and I didn't notice the metal part sticking out. I touched it and took a nice shock. On the positive side, the crick in my neck is fully healed because of it. Electroshock therapy at its finest :D

I am happy to report that Buenos Aires is being the host of the Olympic YOUTH games. Yesterday was the opening ceremony and I loved it! I don't even like (or voted) our current major but I am proud of what he did this time.
