Title: Furies of Calderon--Missing Page
Post by: Cripple X on December 05, 2017, 12:47:14 AM
I recently received a paperback copy of Furies of Calderon as a gift. It was wonderful, but the printing itself had some issues. A bunch of the pages were falling out (despite being a new copy) and page 562 had been erroneously duplicated where page 652 should have been. I contacted the publisher and they sent me a new copy. Thankfully, the pages are all staying put in this one, but the page duplication error is present in this copy as well. I assume it's like that it the entire print run, then? The text is clearly missing because what's at the top of page 653 doesn't follow from the bottom of 651 smoothly. So, where can I find the missing page 652?

That is weird. I don't recall that happening to me. Have you tried seeing if google books is the same?

Do you mean looking the book up on Google Books to see if it has a preview or something? I tried that, but the preview only went to around page 120 and the missing page is close to the end of the book.

Can you tell me what is immediately before and behind the missing chunk?  I might be able to fill in the missing text if it is just a few pages.

Thanks for posting that. I really appreciate it. There's no telling how many current and future readers you're helping out if that entire print run was misprinted.
