May 12, 2026. Blurb and cover speak of the recovery of a devastated Chicago. I wonder if Harry is walking into Demonreach there. More importantly, not hat! I like the model for Harry too.
Yes, I think this may be the first cover where Harry isn't wearing a hat! It does indeed look like Demonreach, however I always throught it was further away from Chicago than the view of it looks like. The synopsis sounds very interesting!
I wonder who is the monster Harry may have created back in Changes? Hints that one of the vampires may have survived after all? "before he only wanted blood" now he wants more.
Curious from the bones lying around if the foe is a Rawhead made of the bones of the various half-breeds, Mercenaries, and human servitors killed there.
I think the thread needs to be both super dangerous and something that will last only a novella, because I don't think we will see that again in the books. Perhaps it is some sort of a ghost Red King or something like that. But if that truly is the reason why Harry had all those nightmares and lost his memory of the few days after killing the rampires (including Susan), I will be disappointed for it being introduced in a novella and not in a "proper" book.
Also, it seems that this take place during Twelve Months and not after it, even when the novella will be out after the books.
I tend to agree Dina. Also..
I am concerned as well about the addition of yet another monster into the mix. If it fits into the BAT eventually is one thing, but just to have someone for Harry to battle, is quite another.
Which is why I think it would make a single appearance. After all, the Titan herself was like that.
