We should be getting Peace Talks released later this year I believe.
There will be a main plot with the accord members coming together to reach a peace settlement, all the while stabbing each other in the back, in the front...
There will be answers within the main plot, but we should be getting clues to some longstanding questions.
What longstanding questions do you think will be either answered or further clued upon.
Any clues you want to see in the next book. What plot issues are you wanting to see wrapped up and/or expect to see wrapped up in PT.

I'd love to get an update on Helen Demeter and Amanda Beckitt.
-
I expect Lord Raith to be replaceed by Thomas with Lara still as leader.
-
I'd like to see the scene where Ebenzar and Thomas come face to face.

Or Eb, and Lord Raith....
-
I just want the book to be focused and move things on, perhaps tie up some annoying loose ends if possible... My greatest hope is that is doesn't feel rushed and like Jim is basically on auto pilot writing about a familiar character and story line.. This has been a problem in my opinion in his latest short stories.

I'm looking forward to Molly revealing to her parents that she's the Winter Lady
-
I’m predicting some black court shenanigans in an effort to get the white court some comeuppance. This may involve a setup involving Old Man Ebenezer.
-
The SC reaction to return-from-the-dead and experienced WK Harry.
-
I'd expect some development on one or both of the remaining significant vampire courts' storylines.
It's been a while since Cowl has appeared, too. I don't expect an identity reveal yet, but he might show up and drop a few more breadcrumbs.
-
Someone launches a black magic assassination attempt on someone at the talks. Eb is accused. Harry is ordered by the WC and Mab to investigate.
-
Frost giants verus Einherjar. Time for the really big battles.
-
Big battles are cool but let's not lose the mystery to solve part.
-
Vaguely, I want to see more of Mab's long-term plans and goals. She's been moving pieces around for ten or eleven books now, and I want to start learning why (from her perspective, not the Mothers or Harry's often warped interpretation).
I'd like to see how Marcone handles himself among the major players. This would be the first time on-page of him negotiating and dealing with Big Supernatural Things. Not really an ongoing plot clue, but it's something I've wanted to see for a while now; Marcone staring down Lara Raith in particular would be fun.
And, like others have said, we need to get the White Council back into things; they've been missing entirely for three books, but really four (as their only real contribution in Changes was to introduce a new jerk and then get sidelined).
-
Peace talks should define the shape of the conflict in the next few books - what replaces the war with the red court. I am personally expecting another war to start. Wars are great from the perspective of the Outsiders as they are a great distraction and prevent concerted action against their interests. I expect this to be a wider war than the war with the red court - Formor, vampires, and several other nations on one side. And ideally this war will start in some way that splinters the white council - or at least ideally from the outsider standpoint.
-
While I am hoping for epic magic and violence, part of me hopes that Maggie and Harry get to spend some bonding time together.
-
I think Harry will learn the identity of ONE member of the black council.
-
I do hope we see NOTHING like the last few episodes of angel, the good guy goes full bore bad guy just to see exactly who is pulling strings, then attacks from within. Great idea, but harry isn't that kind of manipulator. Not to mention the type of crew he has cant be chess pieced into the right place to cause real impact.
-
That kinda has the ring of Amber, except we finally learn that Chaos isn't so 'BAD.' Still, there seems to be some schemes going on that Merlin as new Leader of Chaos has to learn about. Author died so we don't know where the series would have gone from there.
The Amber equivalent would be Harry becoming Lord of the Outsiders maybe to find out potentially there is another bad that has corrupted Chaos. This goes to the question of whether this is a story of Order vs Chaos, or is it a story of Order vs Chaos vs (HORRIBLE), or is it Order + Chaos vs Outsiders
Maybe the Outsiders were once Insiders that HORRIBLE has taken over to use against us in our multiverse. So, if Harry can take control of these "Outsiders" and use them to turn against HORRIBLE, then he can use Chaos to take out something worse.
It could make sense. Think of Cat Sith. Nemesis just apparently converted him from Fae to Outsider essentially in Cold Days. If Harry can free these recently turned 'Outsiders' and all of them generally, it would be a great accomplishment.
-
The real bad guys will never see Harry as a bad guy just a wildcard.

Or a Recruit. Or hell, even potentially their messiah

I'm beginning to think it's more along the lines of them just using Harry to destroy everything. There is no new order. No universe, no multiverse. Just lovecraftian horrors and the end.
I don't think they want their footmen around.

I dont get me wrong, I dont think his use to them would at all outlive this one little Universe they happen to be attacking at the moment. But I do think they have high hopes for said usefulness to them. Something on the order of Opening the Gates, Waking the Sleepers, Killing gods off-Halloween, etc.

Well, I could see them using this multiverse entities against another multiverse down the road. So the footsoldiers fighting at the OuterGates are simply slaves/captured entities from other multiverses that fail from the assaults by the TRUE OUTSIDERS.
It makes the bad guys even worse, a bigger threat than even we can imagine.
Think of an Outsider Vadderung, Mab, Mother WInter, Uriel, Lucifer, TWG to be used by the OUTSIDERS against some other multiverse. I could see that may happen. It could even may some of the BAD's in our Multiverse, asylum seekers/evacuees from other multiverses seeking shelter in ours since their multiverses were destroyed.
I'm reminded a bit of a book called Anathem
