So this month, a 3rd Dresden Files RPG site has gotten the kudos - covering coast to coast and Texas.

Seattle - http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/the-emerald-city
New York - http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/shadows-over-new-york

Thanks for the post Wolfhound. I was gonna post one here myself about my DFRGP game getting COTM, but since you went ahead, I'll just say my peace here then.
Shadows Over New York owes alot of it's existence to you guys, her eon the forums. It started out as a series of ideas that I flew past you guys for review and grew from there. Thanks to all of your assistance, I produced a bunch of material that I then used the wonderful tool that is Obsidian Portal to assemble into a website which I then used to sell my players on the idea of a campaign. It grew from there.

Oh, hey, I missed this...
Congratulations, Keryth!
I don't really hang out on Obsidian Portal so I don't know much about the place, but it sounds like there's a really solid DFRPG community over there. And for some reason, that makes me happy.
Might be a bit more valid than usual in this case, since I remember participating in the preparatory discussions for Shadows Of New York. So maybe it makes sense for me to feel some reflected glory. Still kind of strange that I care, though.
I guess it's part of being a fan. The success of the thing you're a fan of (DFRPG in this case) feels a bit like your own success.

Congratulations Keryth. You have created an awesome Amalgam of Dresden with Buffy, Highlander, X-files, and so many other things and somehow it works perfectly. I can't imagine trying to juggle all those disparate 'verses. And you do it with aplomb.

Well, I have to give credit to my players for making the mix work.
Really, the entire concept originated from a discussion of what else would work in the Dresdenverse.
And then when I started flying the ideas past everyone here, it all came together.
BTW, Sanctaphrax, you're mentioned in a few places on the site, from the skills and powers lists to the thanks/dedication :)

I appreciate the nod.

Credit given where credit is due.
And the help I got from everyone on these boards is greatly appreciated

Man am I posting THis news a little late. Back in 2013, as this topic shows, I started picking the brains of everyone here as I pitched ideas and concepts for a campaign I was working on called Shadows Over New York. Since then, and with the assistance I got here, I developed a site for my campaign on Obsidian portal (https://shadows-over-new-york.obsidianportal.com/). I then ran my first campaign in that universe, and we won Campaign of the month for July, as well as Campaign of the Year for 2013. A second, though short, campaign was run as a Season two.
Now I'm gearing up a third season campaign, incorporating elements of Fate Core as well as a strong heaping of content from Paranet Papers.
I'd really appreciate some opinions on how things look and sound from the community here, even though I've been absent for quite some time.
Thanks all for your time and assistance
Keryth
