Title: How would you represent a "Good Bob" v "Evil Bob" Power?

I was looking at some lawbreaker discussions when I hit upon the idea of a wizard who created a "locked room" in his or her mind to seal away the corruption, allowing him/her to function as a "non-Crazy" until great need.

Initially I was thinking something along a Human Form power which simply denies access to lawbreaker powers until you "shift", but I'd like something a little more detailed than that, possibly something that allows you to "shift" into "lawbreaker mode" and have your lawbreaker aspects come into play then.

Ideas?

Good Bob and Evil Bob are too separate characters with two different power sets.

I guess you could add something like "modular aspects" to human form. I'm not really sure if that would be worth any refresh, others are better at judging those things. Maybe -1?

Well, here's what I got:

Personality Change [-1]
Musts: Human Form
Effect: When you change, you change. Select at least one or up to all of your aspects that get changed when you access the powers restricted by human form. When you access those powers, the chosen aspects get replaced by ones fitting the other personality, as long as you are accessing at least one power restricted by human form.

Maybe beast change and just rename it "Alternate personality", switching up the skills and aspects to fit the other personality more.

Switching Aspects should not cost Refresh.

Beast Change could work, but remember that it can only raise physical skills.

Personally, I'd handle this with an appropriate Aspect and maybe some extra Powers with a Limitation that disables them while the character is non-evil.

Letting the character take debt to their evil side in exchange for temporary Powers or Aspect invokes might be cool too.

Not entirely accurate.  It can't raise social or knowledge skills, but that's not entirely the same as 'only being able to raise physical skills'.  Sadly, skills aren't so neatly divided, let alone into a mere three categories.

I'd say you could just make a GM exception on that rule. My GM already did with intimidation saying it didn't make sense you transform into a huge beast and can't become more intimdiating.  But it's just a clean little way to make it work I think, even if you have to customize it up some. Dunno.

I'd go with a handwave.

Usually you need to pay fate points to resist the compels coming from lawbreaker Aspects.

Now while the evil is locked away all those compels still happen, however you don't pay fate to resist. Instead you incur debt with your "evil clone".
You also loose access to potential bonuses provided by lawbreaker powers.

When you switch over... all those compels jump out and have a party. There is no resisting them.
And then you will need all those lawbreaker bonuses, believe you me.

I'd also prohibit switching back to "sane mode" until all debt is worked off.

Yeah, that's somewhat what I meant to suggest. I didn't word it properly.
