A quick question: I posted a thread on the "Internets" board with the results of last nights Ig Nobel Prize winners, and its sitting there tagged as "Awaiting Approval" Ive never noticed such a thing on threads before; Is it a new thing, or have I just not noticed it? Have I or the linked site somehow been flagged as a dangerous/unreliable source? Just curious, but if its something I have done Id like to do what I can to correct it.

It's an automated moderation behavior intended to prevent linkspamming (even when those links are legit). Someone should approve it soon enough.

this came up before
there was a populer thread we have running in the bar a lot
as its one of the ones we run a lot (the link is to one of the sticky threads on the same board) we found a trick so we did not have to bother the mods everyweek with the same link
(i will try and find the other thread on this topic give me five)

It seems to happen randomly.

I've seen it happening with the opening post is copying something instead of typing. Also, if it has links.

Sweet thanks :)

yes its so random
I am trying to ask a question in the arthers section... but my thread needs aproval
okay there are poserbly a few spelling errors but no links or anything
:-\
I started another topic in the bar only a few hours ago and that did not need aproval
(never mined I just removed the topic... no need to course more work )
-
another question
why do links need aproving but not images?
as images are on the internet would they not be the same?
or is this me being very thick?
