I have a dumb request.
I've been toying with the idea about making a practitoner who manipulates light and darkness.
If pyromancy is heat or fire magic, and cryomancy is ice magic, and chronomancy is time magic.... what would you call "light magic?"
The best latin I can come up with his "Lux mancy" but that sounds very inelegant. Can anyone here help me come up with a good, smooth name for light-(and darkness) based magic?

Luxometry sounds nice, but it has a kind of academic flair to it that might not fit the character.
Another poster on the boards has a character with powers of Tenebromancy, a controller of shadow. For my own shadow-wielding thief, I gave him Umbramancy.
Other ideas include: Spectrumancy, Penumbramancy and Luminomancy.

Photomancy
From Greek φῶς (photos) "light"

Luxfocusopticalmancy.... laser power man!

pewpewmancy...8)
Though I think Photometry will be your best bet, though Luxometry would work as well. Or maybe even Optomancy, but that would probably deal more with actual Optics, though those could make good Focii as well!
