Yeah, there are a number of browsers that have a spell-check feature.

Oh I htought it was somethign that had to be built into the Website, others sites I go to have it so its a bit odd to not have it here. I will have to see if there is a setting for it.

Chrome has one automatically, the only browser I've used without a built in checker is IE.

I don't know about Chrome, but I hear it's good too.  With firefox you can get also get "Add-ons" like NoScript which seriously limits Java badnasties getting onto your puter, and also AdBlock and AdBlock plus, which I heard about on another thread here.  With that you can actually block both ads in general and specific pictures etc which you either dislike or are offensive or distracting.  Like say I had an avatar you didn't like for whatever reason, you can choose not to see just that one picture.  Maybe it sounds trite, but some of the very blinky gifs can really bother my eyes.  With this, I can just affect my viewpoint without bothering other folks.  Mostly though, I don't have to see trashy advertising wherever I go on the web!  WIN

Chrome has spell check and also a lot of similar add-ons to Firefox. I was running Firefox for years but for some reason it started crashing on me so I have been using Chrome better part of the last year. Aside from some glitches with the chat here, scrolling back when someone posts not a deal breaker but annoying, i've not had an issue with it.
