I'm thinking of playing someone who is a descendant of the real Dr. Jekyll that has his own Mr. Hyde. For the powers I was thinking of using this build
Dr Jekyll Form (As Human Form with Involuntary change, caused by anger/rage or even sometimes when he sleeps) +2
Mr. Hyde Form (As Beast Change) -1
Inhuman Strength -2
Inhuman Speed -2
Inhuman Recovery -2
Inhuman Toughness -2
The Catch (Magic) +3 (not easy to get +1 and easy to research +2)
Total -4
I was thinking of using a Discipline roll to resist the change at a difficulty the GM decides is fair for the situation. Of course I would have to take the Aspect "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry"
-
Yeah, that all works. What did you need help with?
-
I'd put the catch at +2, unless just about everyone knows about it, but thats just a quibble. The character looks good. Are you wanting advice on skills or aspects?
-
Do you mean that any magical attacks at all fulfil the Catch?
-
I've been playing with the same idea too.
Define easy to research though.
Hyde was a one-off effect, and even if the book exists, there is no mention of him being taken down by spells. I'd make it [+1]
Also, for my version of Jekyll, I was thinking Ritual[alchemy] as the other family tradition. If you really want to change, drink the potion...
