I was wondering would people allow changelings without glamours to do veils with seliee or unseliee magic what about compulsions, geas  and transformation (pumpkins into carriages, people into hounds)?

DFRPG / Stunt Problem

Someone in my group had the stunt Sniper (sniper): Gain an additional +1 when tagging an aimed aspect, he then aimed for two turns before firing what I was wondering was should the bonus be applied per each maneuver so a net +6 for 2 rounds aiming or should it only be applied for the first aspect so only a +5 from two rounds of aiming. In the case of Sniper allowing the +1 per round seems fine to me but I am not sure of it as a precedent because someone else in the group has the Opportunist (Weapons) stunt which allows then to gain an additional +1 when tagging a consequence which if I allow him to get the bonus per each consequence could get a bit overpowered. What do people think?

I was wondering if anyone in their games had house ruled that control focuses/specialisations only affected control of a spell rather than both control and the attack roll? Do people think it would nurf wizards too much?

DFRPG / Fright Night One Shot

I saw the new remake of Fright Night recently and it got me too thinking about running a one shot of a similar concept in having a bunch of normal kids find they are currently next door to a vampire and have to fight for survival. The issue I am having with the idea was stating a vampire that a bunch of (4) school kids (5 refresh 15 skill points) could actually defeat any ideas?

DFRPG / Half-killing a Scion

In my game a scion of an jinn ended up being half killed by a long range thaurmaturgy the reason he wasn't completely killed was because the sympathetic link used for the spell was off him in his Jinn form (this was a concession vs character death) and so only killed off his Jinn form.  Other than putting the character into the pure mortal category does any have any ideas what other concequences being half-killed might cause.

I was wondering how people would stat world leaders (for example the president) in terms of resources and contacts, these skills should probably exceed their over skills by several degrees which doesn't fit in with the pyramid system. Would you stat them with just higher skills or rely on stunts to keep the pyramid?

I was fiddling with making an Emperor Palatine style villain for my one shot magitec in space game using Dresden files system.  Do people think this villain is too difficult for a big party of Submerged Player given he won't have time to call for backup.

I was wondering by the RAW is it legal to tag the taken out result of an enemy, so could a troll scion tag the taken out result of 'torn in two' on one of the enemy to gain a free +2 bonus to scare the rest of the enemy or could someone invoke the 'willing slave' taken out result (incite obedience) to gain a free mook for the rest of the fight etc.

I was wondering how people would stat inciting a crowd, I know that there are a few homebrew supernatural stunts of questionable balance that allow area inciting but I was wondering if a wcv without these stunts if he had enough time (say 15-30 minute speech) could he incite the emotion of everyone he was speaking too with one roll or would he have to roll 10-20 (once per round) to affect 10-20 people.

A while back I tried to stat an anime style ninja and came to wonder about the refinement of poisons and acids. The question I want to ask the board is what skill would people suggest for the mixing and refining of complex chemicals (scholarship or crafting) ? and what would be the effects of applying poison or acid to a weapon (venomous damage mechanics, extra poison stress or a free aspect)?

Do people allow characters with supernatural speed or higher to split their supplemental movement between before and after they attack. So in the case of Super Speed move 1 zone forward attack and move one zone back ?

I was wondering how people would stat a remote controlled battle doll (controlled by discipline), the doll user can see through the dolls eyes and control it from great distances, it is stronger and faster than human and can fly. So far my problem hasn't been statting the doll itself and its powers but has been statting the remote control part of the doll and whether it should have physical stress track does anyone have any ideas on how I could stat these without being game breaking?
