Wait...3 DVDs? That can't be right...that's 6 eps a disk, plus pilot and docs, plus commentaries. The compression algorithms for that would give very poor image quality. 3-4 eps a disc is needed. So that would be three discs for the episodes alone, plus a bonus features disk.

Well, they might put them out as double-sided DVDs. Same as the House DVDs and they fit a 22-ep season on 3 DVDs. So that makes me think 2 disks for the eps, one for the extras. Something like that.

Yeah well.. I'm a sheep so I'll chip in as well.

Thanks for entertaining us every week, giving us laughs, maybe some tears and overall just three great months with a great new series. I can't express how much I wish for a second season.

Give our (as if I can speak for the rest of you guys, sorry) best wishes to the rest of the crew if you get a chance to see them. Hope to see you guys again maybe this fall :D

I put my vote in for the SplatterCon!!! shirt. Because!

I like the idea about the Blue Beetle.
I'm thinking a nice pic of the car and arrow pointing from the different parts to a description what happened to it. I can't really explain but I'm thinking like 'anatomy of the Blue Beetle'.

And underneath something like "Phoenix Impression".

Ooops.  ;D

I think people were just half-assuming it might be 106. Bad Blood was assumed to be 106 at one point, as well. Given the way this series has been shown one can never tell what's coming up next.

...and given that Robert Wolfe has stated the episodes have been edited based on the order they're airing in I'm not too sure the Production ID's are quite as important as we once thought. For example, even if Storm Front started out as 101, I have a feeling it now wouldn't fit so well in that slot.

I guess you're right. It's not really that important since there wasn't much continuity stuff so far.
It's just bothering me a little when I try to set up a decent episode order for my site, you know? The first couple of episodes were pretty clear and now, nobody knows.

But that's just me, being a little anal about these things ;)

Contacts
Storm Front
"Let me tell you something, Morty. When I come into a place and don't say a thing except, 'Let's talk,' and the first thing I hear is 'I didn't do it,' it makes me think that the person I'm talking to must have done something. You know what I'm saying?" – Harry Dresden

Isn't that Grave Peril? Just sayin' ;)

Love your quotes :D

Under Resources...maybe

I don't have my books near me so I don't know which one...

The priest remembering Harry because he'd never blessed a 55 gallon drum of water before?

It's in Grave Peril, p.75 :D

Burglary
SF, p.64/65
"One of the reasons vampires, as a rule, don't do it - they have enough trouble just holding themselves together, outside the Nevernever. It isn't harmful to a human wizard, like me, but it can really impair anything you try to do with magic. Also, it just isn't polite."

Presence
SK, p. 56
"Still, it was my first Council meeting as a full wizard, and he was the Merlin, after all. And I did look pretty bad. Plus, Ebanezar shot me a warning glance. I swallowed a hot answer and took a stab at diplomacy."

Performance
DM, p.1
"It isn't like I have stage fright or anything, see. Because I don't."

That's what I got so far. Edit if need be :D

Yeah, I get that.

Apparently, it's different for each fandom. Not the legality-part but what I've heard just now is that e.g. Joss Whedon encourages fanfiction.

But hey.. I kinda understand that though I wasn't aware of it to that extend. As I said.. I'll do it quite-like and when I'm asked to take it down, I will. There are only a few people who will visit me in prison if I get sued ;)

I guess I can live with that. I doubt that he'll frequent his own fansite ;)

And if I'm asked to take my stuff down, so be it. I don't wanna get sued ;)

Thanks for letting me know, though. :D

Yeah well.. it's getting clearer and I seem to be to only klutz out there who didn't know. I mean, I get the point but...

There are so many archive sites and such and their content is illegal. That's just confusing me. I mean.. I get that it would pull a big I-sue-you-cause-you-stole-and-I-sue-you-back-cause-you-stole-from-me-first thing but still...

I have just discussed this with some people over on my LJ. Apparently, we were all lucky 'cause Joss Whedon is a friend of fanfic supports it.

Oh well.. I'll stop pondering and post my writing in a secure place then ;)

Thanks for letting me know.

Though I never though that writing fanfiction is actually illegal. Or at least, it sounds like it. I mean, I've been writing for BtVS for quite some time and nobody every said a peep. But who am I to argue. I don't want to get sued.... ;)

I have already posted over at LJ. And I was in fact aiming to post it on the Dresden Files sites I'm putting together as I write this..

Well then...  I'll keep it hidden ;)

Site Suggestions & Support / a fanwork section?

So she's new and already starting with the questions.. I'm sorry ;)

I was just wondering if it was possible to have, say, a fanworks section?
I know there are a bunch of people who do fanarts and such. And I've started working on fanfiction.

Well. that's it ;)
