So I have taken to listening to Audio books on my commute in to work and just noticed in Dead Beat that Luccio's sword has magical transformation powers on top of having the usual Warden bag of tricks. When Harry first meets her at Mcanally's (page 289 for those looking) she is described as having a scimitar hanging at her hip. During her fight with Corpse taker/ assorted specters (page 390), it magically transforms in to a rapier. I'm sure I'm not the first person to notice but it caught me off guard fora few. So now I'm curious what weapon she was SUPPOSED to have. Anyone ever ask Jim about the oops?

That is not a detail I ever noticed.
I'll bet it's just how Jim pictured the two different scenes, but it would be fun if her sword transformed into what she needs.

A wizard did it.

A wizard did it.
*Smacks self in head*
That makes SO much sense.

I always pictured her as having a rapier, but that could be because that is what she ended that book with.

Go, Go Morphin Sword.

Erm... how can you wonder about something as straightforward and simple:
*Pulls off a straight poker face and in sombre voice answers:* "Magic." *Wiggles all fingers.*

Well, she makes the swords; she could always have a backup.
