DF Spoilers / Ghost Story's Lash
« on: April 13, 2018, 04:09:35 PM »
We have WOJ that Lash appeared in Ghost Story. Many believe it was Bonnie via the Parasite referred to at the End of Ghost Story.  There are some WOJ's on this topic that I will include a bit later.

Quote
2011 Boston Signing
Is Lasciel going to make a comeback? The coin is still buried in the lab, right?
Her coin isn’t in the lab anymore. Her story is not yet over. However, both Lasciel and Lash appeared in Ghost Story, but not under those names.

So, from what I remember in past threads, these are the two primary theories regarding Lash's appearance in Ghost Story:
1). Lash=Parasite=Bonnie
2). Lash=Death Angel
3). Lash=7 whispered words
4). Lash=Inez

I had a thought today of a middle road with regard to #2.  I'm wondering if perhaps part of Lash was attached to the Death Angel to support her until Lash regained functionality on her own.
2A) Lash attached to Death Angel for rehabilitation.

Alternatively, we could just see another Lash in another timeline like that of a Mirror Mirror.  Or, we can see Lash in a time travel plot to the past.

Here are other WOJ's on the topic.  Many of these are older than the one quoted above.

Quote
What roll will Lasciel play in future books?
That's going to be another one of those where I go "Hahaha, I know and you don't" because, you know, it's the whole, I want to provide for my family thing.  Were're not done with Lasciel.  We might not even be totally done with Lash, but we will have to see how that goes.
2009 Chicago signing:
Q:  Will we see Lash or Lasciel again?
A:  Lasciel’s story is not over.  And keep in mind what’s said about ‘a woman scorned.’  Also keep in mind that Lasciel is NOT Lash; Lasciel did not reabsorb the entity that Harry actually changed. (Yes, he use those words “that Harry actually changed.”)
2009 Independence signing
Q:  Was the voice in Harry’s head at the end of White Night (when he was playing guitar) a sign that Lash is still there?
A:  Not really.  But Lash’s story isn’t done.
2008 Comic-Con Q&A: @ about 6:11
Q:  Does Lasciel's shadow get to heaven because she redeemed herself?
A:  The answer to that is so much more complicated than is easy to give, especially without giving out extra story and ruining the fun.  No.  Lasciel's spirit didn't go to heaven.  And now, (sing song) I'm not gona tell you. *mutters about heroin for writers*  But it will come out, don't worry the story will be there.
Open plots from past books remained gaping while brand new ones left me thinking, "Wait, what?" more than once. Harry can still call Lasciel's coin to him whenever he wants? Really? Because....?
Some plots are still open because, you know. The story isn't done yet. And Harry knows it's possible for the coin to be summoned because Lash told him it was doable. As far as him being able to summon the coin, well. He kinda lied to Mab. It'll be clearer why he did, eventually.
2011 Bitten by Books Q&A
What twist has the series taken that even surprised you? I am constantly surprised by the twists and turns.
The whole Lasciel’s coin plot was something I instigated on the spur of the moment back in book 5, and which isn’t over yet. Lots of things happen that aren’t specifically spelled out, but which can be woven into the overstory plot that I’ve been pursuing. I expect new stuff will continue seeping out of my subconscious and prove to fit pretty smoothly into the outline.

I believe there is also in book text that suggests ALL of Lash's leftovers went into Bonnie but I think it is reasonable to assume that some part of Lash's essence may have been diverted to Heaven at the point of her sacrifice that we just don't know about.  We do know however that most/some of Lash did indeed go into Bonnie.  The question then becomes one of ALL.

I was reviewing a past thread and someone referred to the terminator series with respect to time travel.  I looked up terminator series with respect to time travel and found the emphasis placed on John Connor origin via time travel.  I believe this origin applies to one or both Harry and marcone.  I have long argued that marcone descends from Harry and Murphy/Mab.  I've even argued that Harry descends in some way from nicodemus via Malcolm dresden.

So, this thread is devoted to John marcone being a John Connor character whose birth is being targeted by team bad by killing off either Murphy or Harry.  Or maybe he just descends from one and not the other.  Anyways in small favor Harry gets a sample of marcones blood and we never see him return it despite having made a binding promise to return it upon request by garde.  It should also be mentioned that luccio was in the room about to open the case when Harry warns her not to open it.  He then feels really sleepy and I don't think we see much of it again.  Luccio was compromised by Peabody/black council at this time.  We do learn that Thomas was observing some events at this time.

lternatively, I've argued that marcone will end up like Cable from the Xmen series. In this Nathan summers/winters has his origin also in a time travel plot.  This could have his name be Nathan.  And if I'm going to stay with the wag that he is Harry's descendant then he is Nathan dresden.

Either way, terminator via John Connor or xmen via Cable, I believe Marcone will find his character cast in this light.

DF Spoilers / Is Mac God?
« on: April 05, 2018, 03:28:30 PM »
We have Griffyn612 theory that Mac is a transubstantiated Raphael.  Considering the same evidence that Gryffyn puts forth for Mac to be Raphael, I'll put forth for him being God.

So, do we have evidence that precludes Mac from being God?  What does it mean to be God within the Dresdenverse.  Definition of DF God: ?.

We know that Mac creates "God's brew". And He is often described as downright Angelic.

If Mac is indeed some projection of God, then it makes more sense that he was more of a target in Cold Days with the Outsider attack on Demonreach than we believed.  And Harry brought him there.  Mac couldn't compromise mortal free will, therefore he followed.  The attack on Demonreach with Mac upon the island then isn't possibly as much about destroying the island, releasing the sleepers, etc but doing away with God's projection within this reality.  I don't think it would really 'hurt' God so much but it could cause a wrinkle in the balance of power for a moment.  We now know per WOJ that God has commanded Outsiders to remain outside of Creation, outside of the Sandbox he has given us. However, he has given creation this sandbox, given mortals free will, so if we are going to wreck this creation by bringing in the void (Outsiders), then that is on us.

Quote
A: Almighty isn't really about determining the order of the universe.  He isn't a GM.  He made us a sandbox game and then let us decide how to play it, and mod it.
Now He's already told those forces, 'stay out of my sandbox' and they do.  But He's also gives us the sandbox.  And if we want to invite them in to screw it all up, well.  The void is still there.  Waiting.

I think even if God has settled on allowing Us to choose our Fate, I wouldn't put it past him to place a transubstantiated form in play of himself.  And who better for this form to be than a bartender making God's brew, interacting with a Starborn that will likely be the deciding factor in the Fate of the Universe/Multiverse.

Lucifer is nowhere close to the Biggest Bad.  He's not even on the tree.
Look.  Lucy's main mission in life is to win an agrument...with GOD.  It's about humans and free will.  It's complicated beyond the mortal ability to understand, so we only know the shorthand of it.  He has bent the universe in the course of his argument, caused untold suffering, and he is NOWHERE CLOSE because in order to win an argument about the nature of the universe, YOU NEED TO HAVE A UNIVERSE.
That, right there, gives him a limit other bads don't have.  Plus he is /really/ focused on his argument.  All the bad he does is in service to that.  It's not personal.  Well, it is, but it isn't.  You'll see when he shows up.
But honestly, Nicodemus is more dangerous to the universe than Lucy, in some ways.

https://i.imgur.com/fPVMmap.png
Q: That's interesting indeed.  (AND I really want to see Harry, someday, talking to the Greatest of the Fallen and call him Lucy.
But if both God and Lucy agree they want the universe intact, that would imply that beings that want to destroy the universe are powerful enough to threaten both of them, otherwise God would be saying "No, you can't do that to My creation"...

JIM: Fair warning, reported WOJ's that I see after conventions and whatnot are just dead wrong maybe a quarter of the time.  I used to try to correct them back in the day but then I thought, "I can't be spending so much time chasing plastic bags in a high wind" so I mostly stopped.
I am not merely an unreliable narrator. I am proactive about it.
FAN: I consider your quotes at Q&As as good frameworks to the future plans and as clarification, but that the finished books are always the iron-clad clarifications, because entire scenarios could be changed between one Q&A and when it actually comes time to write about it.  But I have seen people get into honest all-caps arguments over seemingly contradictory ideas between books and con discussions, so...
Jim: Yeah and most of those, at least the ones I've seen, are based on misheard or misunderstood statements.  And I have knowingly dropped misinformation based on those kind of fights at least twice.
Trust no one, not even the author!  Especially the author!

Fan: But...Now I don't know which 25% of the WOJ website to believe?
Jim:  Wouldn't believe any of it if I were you.  I don't do a lot of deliberate disinformation but I find that just a little bit of a lie makes all that truth so much more unreliable and therefore harder to predict :)
Fan: You sir have just sparked a new wave of insane theories. Take cover.

DF Spoilers / I love you
« on: February 14, 2018, 03:29:40 PM »
Ok, we have fairly guessed that the pivotal choice in Grave Peril will be Harry not telling Susan "I love you" which will cause a splintered Mirror Mirror reality.  Harry will after having visited Mirror Mirror and somehow later form the conclusion that he hadn't told Susan "I love you".  Now, will he ever use this knowledge to tell Murphy "I love you."

The problem with these books written months to a year apart is we can't be certain Harry hasn't told Murphy "I love you."  So, will this "I love you" moment become important in the plot later with another person like Murphy, Mab...

I also posted this question because I don't believe Harry has yet to tell Murphy "I love you."

UPDATED:2/16/18
HARRY DID SAY "LOVE YOU, TOO" TO KARRIN:
Quote
Murphy turned to me. She reached up with both hands, put them on the sides of my head, and pulled me down a little. Then she kissed my forehead and my mouth, neither quickly nor with passion. Then she let me go and looked up at me, her eyes worried and calm. "You know that I love you, Harry. You're a good man. A good friend."
I gave her a lopsided smile. "Don't go all gushy on me, Murph."
She shook her head. "I'm serious. Don't get yourself killed. Kick whatsoever ass you need to in order to make that happen." She looked down. "My world would be a scarier place without you in it."
I chewed my lip for a second, feeling very awkward. Then I said, "I'd rather have you covering my back than anyone in the world, Karrin." I cleared my throat. "You might be the best friend I've ever had."
She blinked quickly several times and shook her head. "Okay. This is going somewhere awkward."
"Maybe we should take it from ‘whatsoever ass,' " I suggested.
She nodded. "Find him. Kick his ass."
"That is the plan," I confirmed. Then I bent down and kissed her forehead and her mouth, gently, and leaned my forehead against hers. "Love you, too," I whispered.(edited)
The "I love you" problem with Murphy has been averted :)

DF Spoilers / Kumori's Identity-Elaine and Harry's daughter-Faith Astor
« on: February 03, 2018, 03:56:49 PM »
New Theory: I was on discord conversing with some members there. And, I wondered about the cosmic powers wanting to get a child from Harry's. This partly arose by similar plots in Amber whereby so many powers tend to want Merlin to hook up with this person or that.  So, I broached the idea that Elaine and Harry may have had a child together.  That Elaine was pregnant at the time of Harry defeating Justin.  I included the following conversation where the original thoughts sprang from.  After his conversation, I had time to reflect on it. I am now wondering if Harry/Elaine's daughter is also Faith Astor who then becomes Kumori.  On subsequent reflection, I tend to believe that a Elaine=Kumori fit is a better one but still with Elaine having a daughter with Harry.

[11:08 AM] raidem: Yesterday, I was wondering if Elaine may have had a child with Harry.
[11:09 AM] ZQKing: Let's go with no
[11:09 AM] raidem: I would think that the higher powers would want to get Harry's kid.
[11:09 AM] Boustrophedonic: Obviously that child is Kumori
[11:09 AM] spaghettimonster: here we go again
crawls into the fortified bunker marked 'In Case of Raidem Theories'(edited)
[11:09 AM] Boustrophedonic: /s
[11:10 AM] raidem: Hmm.  Kumori being Elaine's/Harry daughter?(edited)
[11:10 AM] spaghettimonster: @Boustrophedonic stop giving him ideas
[11:10 AM] Boustrophedonic: Any kid they'd have would be about 25
[11:10 AM] raidem: I like it.
[11:10 AM] Boustrophedonic: If my math is right
[11:10 AM] ZQKing: I mean, let's go with a rough estimate that the last time they were together he was 16 or younger, she'd be in her twenties or close to thirties
[11:10 AM] ZQKing: nowhere near strong enough to ahve the kind of juice kumori has
[11:11 AM] ZQKing: Unless t i m e t r a v e l
[11:11 AM] raidem: It would fit with WOJL about Kumori's identity cause Harry pain.
[11:11 AM] Boustrophedonic: Harry was 25ish in Storm front
[11:11 AM] ZQKing: Wish we could find a source on the WOJ rai
[11:11 AM] raidem: I'll search google.
[11:12 AM] Boustrophedonic: @ZQKing or magical deals/natural talent/being the daughter of two Starborn
[11:14 AM] raidem: It makes sense.  Hey it is a new theory  based on my speculation about Elaine having a child with Harry, and then Boustrophedonic adding it is Kumori
[11:14 AM] Boustrophedonic: I have heard dumber theories on Kumori's identity(edited)
[11:14 AM] raidem: We and Boustrophedonic came up with a new theory (he did the Kumori part).
[11:14 AM] raidem: I like it.(edited)
[11:15 AM] raidem: I'll add it to the Forum.
[11:16 AM] raidem: Bous, you can add it to reddit if you want
[11:16 AM] Boustrophedonic: I was mostly fucking around,
[11:17 AM] raidem: It would also explain why people, Justin, brought two potential Starborn together.
[11:17 AM] raidem: And he wanted both to develop a sexual relationship.
[11:17 AM] raidem: It follows then that someone had a possible plan whereby Elaine would get pregnant.
[11:18 AM] raidem: It just depends on whether or not Harry and Elaine had sufficient time to do so.
[11:18 AM] Boustrophedonic: It hinges on the "Cowl=Justin" theory, where I believe that cowl is actually Simon
[11:18 AM] raidem: It works then too.
[11:18 AM] raidem: It also will piss off Harry all the more.
[11:19 AM] raidem: IdHarry tells Harry to protect the offspring.
[11:21 AM] Boustrophedonic: Oh duh, Simon and Justin used to work together

DF Spoilers / Grey Council vs. Circle
« on: January 30, 2018, 04:50:03 PM »
(I've included the vs. Circle in the topic so that we can talk about members of the Circle too.)

I think I found another member of the Grey Council.

"his Bigfoot client Strength of a River in His Shoulders,
"B is for Bigfoot"takes place between Fool Moon and Grave Peril. "I Was a Teenage Bigfoot" takes place circa Deadbeat. "Bigfoot on Campus" takes place between Turn Coat and Changes.  Since Bigfoot is in the story up to Changes, I think it is a given he plays a part in Changes.

Side note: Bigfoot River's has a son named Irwin.  (Side track, thinking of the name Corwin)

I think Bigfoot is a member of the Grey Council!!!

WOJ's:
Quote
#136 “I am also highly intrigued by the Gray Council showing up as 12 in number.”
Thirteen, actually: Harry was already there.
“So we found out who 2 of them were, i’d like to know how many of the rest we already know and how many of them haven’t been formally introduced to us yet.”
Hang on, counting… You already know six of the folks who showed up at Chichen Itza, excluding McCoy and Vadderung.

So we know 6 but don't know 4 of the 10 Gray Council members.  The other 3 are Harry, McCoy, Vadderung.  So, if Bigfoot is one of the 6 we know, then we need to find out 5 more some or most of which come from the White Council.

Hmm... Now that I'm thinking about it, anyone that seems like they have a alibi as to not being a member of the Grey Council as they were at Edinburgh because they were locked up, or sick, etc, doesn't necessarily have such a "ALIBI."  In Amber, shadows of the person exist, so they can take the place of the 'original' person.  We also know in DF, that people can be impersonated. So, when McCoy says that LTW is hold up sick in Edinburgh, I wouldn't necessarily take that as a strict restriction on his membership.

DF Spoilers / Time Travel, Safety, and There You Are
« on: January 28, 2018, 12:45:11 AM »
I created this thread and I deleted it previously because I didn't think people were interested in it, but Groinkick was.  So I recreated it.

I stated that Harry, consistent with my theory of "There You Are", will jump at some point to the moment(s) around the time he meets with Uriel in Ghost Story.  He will likely jump from a time of great danger, and will need to jump to a time where he needs to be on a plane of existence close to the Primal Plane.  It will be "No matter where you go, this you are" memory that will have Harry realizing he can jump back to meet with Uriel.

DF Spoilers / Marcone's Family
« on: January 24, 2018, 05:47:47 PM »
I'm going to run this for some period of time.  I won't have an 'other' option.  I will add options at the bottom as you recommend them. People can then choose the best option among those listed. And change their vote as other options are avaliable.  Having no 'other' will force a vote between named options.

DF Spoilers / Cold Days: Attack on Demonreach
« on: January 23, 2018, 12:35:09 AM »
I'm in an argument over on Discord with my nemesis. :)

Let's lay the foundation.
Quote
Then I saw the dissonance appear. Bob had chosen to show it as a sullen red light that began to pulse lightly at the westernmost edges of the great design. It began as something faint, but then, like an oncoming headache, started to throb into something larger and more noticeable. Where scarlet and blue light touched, there were ugly flares of energy-flares that I had been sensing ever since I'd gotten to the island. Before long, that scarlet pulse had spread to half the island, and then, abruptly, the screen went white.
Text at the bottom read, NOVEMBER 1.
"By tomorrow," I said. "Super. But I still don't see what is wrong, Bob."
"Energy hits it," Bob said. "A directed burst of energy, a whole lot of it. It unravels the whole containment spell Merlin laid down and triggers the fail-safe."
"FIRE," rumbled Demonreach.
"I figured that one out, thanks," I said. "But nothing has actually happened to the spells yet?"
"Nope," said Bob. "That tension that's building? It's . . . Well, think of it as cause and effect, only backward."
"What the island is experiencing now is the echo of the moment that burst of energy strikes it," Bob said. "Only instead of the echo happening after, it's happening first."
I stopped and thought. "You're telling me that the reason the island is about to blow up is . . . because it's about to blow up?"
Bob sighed. "Someone hits the island with energy, Harry. But they've figured out how Merlin put this place together. They aren't attacking it in three dimensions. They're attacking in four. They're sending power through time as well as through space."
"So . . . I have to stop them from attacking the island tomorrow?"
"No," Bob said, exasperated. "You have to stop them from attacking whenever it is that they actually attack.
"
"Uh . . ."
Quote
"Look, the rock they're throwing hits tomorrow," Bob said. "But you have to stop them from throwing it at whatever point they're standing when they throw it."
"Oh," I said, blinking. "I get that."
Bob turned to look at Demonreach. "Do you see what I have to work with here? I had to take that down to throwing a rock before it got through."
"HIS UNDERSTANDING IS LIMITED," Demonreach agreed.

First the definition
I stipulated 'cosmic' Halloween to be defined as the time in which the conjunction exists whereby immortals are made mortal.

General impression:
I argue the attacks can be entirely within cosmic Halloween.

2:19 PM] -EG-: They're throwing it from the barges. It builds up and hits the next day. Halloween no longer applies, stuff in the Well goes free.

EG's argument is that the Demonreach attack rock doesn't hit until November 1st (but post Halloween) per the white screen with it labeled at bottom and per Bob "Look, the rock they're throwing hits tomorrow."
The attack may be thrown when the barge hits but the rock doesn't hit until November 1st.
He is dead set that because we see a white screen labeled November 1st, that means whatever event it signifies must hit not on halloween but Nov 1st.
Therefore there are no mantles to be gobbled up as the immortals aren't destroyed but set free to cause huge disorder, etc.

My arguments are this.
Bob showed us a model isn't completely accurate.
Harry took November 1st to mean 'by tomorrow" not necessarily tomorrow.
I pointed to
Quote
So . . . I have to stop them from attacking the island tomorrow?"
"No," Bob said, exasperated. "You have to stop them from attacking whenever it is that they actually attack.
.
I then point to Vadderung's
Quote
“Meaning that the echoes caused by the temporal event are proportionately greater than the span of time that was bridged,” he said. “Had the attack been launched from a century ago, or hence, the echoes of it would have begun far, far in advance of the event—centuries ago. These echoes have appeared only within the past few days. I would guess, roughly, that the attack must originate only hours from the actual, real-time occurrence.” “Which is tomorrow,” I said. “So it’s happening sometime today or sometime tomorrow.” “Most likely not tomorrow,” Vadderung said. “Altering one’s past is more than mildly difficult.”

Other issues at play
I argued that some/most prisoners within Demonreach have mantles.  He argued they don't have them.
I argued that the banefire event would be on Halloween not on Nov 1st so as to kill the prisoners.  I'd allow however that the energy could be gobbled up. He is pretty steadfast about Nov 1st as shown by model being accurate depiction of what would occur.

DF Spoilers / Chronicles of Amber
« on: January 20, 2018, 06:08:28 PM »
I'm reading the Chronicles of Amber.  Jim was/is a fan of the series playing RGP based on the series.  Please join me as I listen to the series audiobooks.  I'll be jotting down similarities between The Chronicles of Amber and Dresden Files.

Quote
“What I want to know is, how did you meet the goddess Priscellie and Fred/Iago and others? And thank her again for doing the butcher block pod casts.”
Fred and I played a text-based internet RPG together called AmberMUSH, back in the early 90s when the internet was just beginning to hit. We did not get along well.  I was at odds with a friend of Fred’s, and Fred is the kind of guy who is fiercely loyal to his friends. We eventually worked things out,

DF Spoilers / We see 1000ish years ago?
« on: January 19, 2018, 02:46:44 PM »
We have this WOJ:
Quote
No.  Mab was not the first Mab.  Mab was originally Winter Lady, and Lea was her Jenny Greenteeth.  She was her sidekick and handmaiden.  And so when Mab got promoted Lea did too.  So she got to be much more powerful and awesome.  But that was a while back.  When that happened.  And the same thing with Titania.  The Winter Queens actually died.  The last time things got awful in the wizard world.  So things are about to get awful in the wizard world again and they're a bit nervous.  They're a bit nervous about Dresden.  Well, Titania is very nervous about Dresden.  Mab is keeping her enemies close.

Quote
How often do the Ladies’, Queens’ and Mothers’ mantles change?
Uh, the Ladies, Queens and Mothers, their mantles change very, very, very rarely in general. I mean, Mab’s been there for better than 1,000 years. And Maeve’s been there….there was a Winter Lady before Maeve, uh, in Mab’s time. And she didn’t fare so well the last time a Starborn was running around.

Quote
Is Nic older than Mab?
He is.

The first quote is the main one that is relevant.  I included the others from this link made by Serack http://www.jimbutcheronline.com/bb/index.php/topic,48717.msg2258880.html#msg2258880.

My main theory Murphy/Mab requires that Murphy revisit this time.  That said, this thread asks the question if we will see from Harry's point of view in a time traveling book the events when both Queens died.  Jim mentions these events in WOJ, but the avg reader really has no knowledge of this.  So for it to be germane to the story other than mere backstory not in the books, Jim will need to write it in.  How does Jim tie it into the plot? Will we get a reveal of who Mab and Titania are prior to ascending.

DF Spoilers / What clues will we get from Peace Talks?
« on: January 18, 2018, 10:13:37 PM »
We should be getting Peace Talks released later this year I believe.

There will be a main plot with the accord members coming together to reach a peace settlement, all the while stabbing each other in the back, in the front...
There will be answers within the main plot, but we should be getting clues to some longstanding questions.
What longstanding questions do you think will be either answered or further clued upon.
Any clues you want to see in the next book.  What plot issues are you wanting to see wrapped up and/or expect to see wrapped up in PT.

DF Spoilers / Is the WK mantle affecting Harry's sperm?
« on: January 17, 2018, 07:52:20 PM »
In the thread on Queen Succession Rules, the topic about "the point at which the mantle of Lady would be destroyed came up.  Mab defines it as the Lady "to become a mother."  Her statement is as follows.

Quote
"Three Queens of Summer; three Queens of Winter," she said, that alien gaze returning to me.  "Maiden, Mother, and Crone.  You are the Maiden, Lady Molly.  And for you to be otherwise, to become a mother, would be destroy the mantle of power you wear."  The mantle protected itself--as it must.
"What?"
She tilted her head and stared at me.  "It is all within the law.  I suggest you spend a few hours each day meditating on it in the future. In time you will gain and adequate understanding of your limits."

We have seen that there is a self defense mechanism within the Lady mantle that prevents sex, but if push came to shove could a pregnant Lady exist.  We know that only 'to become a mother' destroys it.  Anyway, that is a topic of another thread.  Now shift back to Harry's sperm :)

I have wondered if Harry, wielding the Knight's power, is having his sperm changed such that his children from this point forward will have greater fae genetics. I wondered how such condition would affect a child sired by Harry with Murphy.  And should such child, fetus at this point, accompany Murphy in time traveling into the distant past to become Mab.

To simplify the main topic of discussion, I assert that Harry's future children will have very high levels of fae genetics.
