I Have a player who is wanting to play a Norse Beserker. I need a power for the Rage or Beserker rage or something the like. Needs to give bonuses as well as negatives and have more to it then could be accomplished with stunts. Unfortunately I tend to get carried away designing powers. So can anyone help me... Any power ideas that would stack with str and toughness but also cost you some on perception and defense... More powerful but open to attack... maybe even some extra in there. I was thinking a 1-3 power cost sense the positives would somewhat balance the negative. Please Help...

Mostly if your going with the Celtic or the Norse mythological Berserker / Warp Spasm effect you are looking at strength, toughness and speed powers with a human form (+1 for only when in trance mode) as Berserker's are physically stronger, tougher and faster when in berserk mode. Some mod of Demonic Co-Pilot also makes sense though if you want the character to be playable I would just do it with aspects.

Lycanthropes (not Werewolves) in the DresdenVerse are touted as the possible inspiration for the berzerker legends, and in that vein, I made a Leothrope Rocker for a failed online game:

How about Human Form, Involuntary Change, Beast Change (gives you physical skill swap and a misshapen humanoid form if following warp spasm myths), Inhuman Strength, and Inhuman Toughness - probably with a catch of Magic.

There is a canon Berserker Stunt on the books in Sigrun Gard:
Berserker (Weapons): Gard may choose to go
berserk in a fight. Once she enters this mode,
she must attack her foes until she or they
are dead. While berserk, she gains a +1 to her
attacks and her attacks all do +1 stress if they
hit, but all her defense rolls are made at –1.
Simplicity is sometimes the best. If you want to go over and above, I agree with other posters that Inhuman *whatever* with Human Form is the way to go, but I would throw in Demonic Co-Pilot (and probably rename it Berserker Mindset or something) for flavor. All that foam can't be good for your brain.
