I think Harry's treatment of Bonnie will come back to bite him. She will realise soon how differently she is treated than Maggie is. Maggie is publicly acknowledged as Harrys daughter to his family and friends , she goes to school, hangs out with Mouse, has her own room, will get xmas and birthday gifts. Bonnie doesn't.

Theres no way thats not going to cause resentment of Maggie by Bonea. We have seen a big bad who locked away and hidden by her father, look how that turned out.

WAG about Bonnie and a body. She can possess people and will eventually find a way to Amanda Beckitt/persephone, it's going to look as though a miracle has happened and she has a reawakening. Harry trying to stop her puts him in Marcone's crosshairs.

Blampire WAG.

Drakul first created them by using necromancy combined with soulfire. My WAG is the reason Garlic is Blampire kryptonite is because He or his son were allergic to garlic and in using soulfire he accidentally transferred that weakness to his progenies.

Another spitball idea - a steak through the heat kills them because instead of a drum beat, soulfire has been used to fake a heartbeat that perpetually keeps the dead vampires running instead of a drummer. Steak through the heart is like stopping  the drumming in necromancy and will stop them dead in their tracks.   They need to keep topping up on human life to refill the battery to keep it ticking over.

I feel like there may be a play going on.

They might genuinely believe Harry is compromised so by not associating with Dresden , if he does anything to piss off the other signatories they not liable for what he does.

Jim recently asked in an interview what the result of using Nevromancy with soulfire would be.

After giggling and he said something to the effect that the result of that was already running around the Dresdenverse. My first thought was Black Court vampires.

So did Drakul use soulfire to try and bring his son back, creating the first Blampire? Or did Dracula try something with it?

How was it available? I've checked Amazon and the option just isn't there.
