Would love to get some input on the Authors website for my novel, Veil of the Dragon. (See below)
I posted it as I am finishing up the novel this summer. Basically ading some length to it to bring it closer to 400 pgs.
But I would greatly appreciate any insight ayone has on either the site or the work. The prologue is posted on it.
Thank you!

Typical minimum length of an adult fantasy novel is 100,000 words or 400 pages. If its shorter also look into whether it can be marketed as YA, which typically have shorter lengths. My novel, Veil of the Dragon turned up short on page count and so I am following an agents direction and filling it in a little more. Important to remember the people we are wanting to publish us have to sell it and there will be inevitably certain rules of the market they have to follow.

Had a fantastic Writers Conference earlier this month. Got alot of good feedback from agents, editors and authors. Currently making some changes that were suggested and that in my gut I knew I needed to make all along. Starting an Author's website as I finish up the novel, Veil of the Dragon. The web address is: tombarczak.com
It should be up and running sometime this week. Please visit and I would appreciate any feedback you have.

My first stab is following a manuscript / synopsis format of about 25:1 as described in the Marshall Plan for Novel Writing by Evan Marshall which has been a fantastic help so far. I'm a bit over 1/2 complete and getting better at it as I go. Once that's done I will make another pass at a single page format. The best part of it has been its revelation of all of my little plot holes and tangled threads. I almost wish I would have written this first! I think in writing its so easy to get caught up in my prose, I need to remember that the reader has to follow along with it.
