Title: Reddit Functionality

I just wanted you guys to know that Reddit recently upgraded their user interface. So, it is much easier and neater to communicate on that board there.

This is a link to the DresdenFiles subreddit there.  It is a good one.  There is also a You Tube channel linked to the Subreddit and a Discord server also.

I still don't like it. I'll never understand Reddit, it is and has always been, just a worse (harder to read/follow) version of forums and its success is a matter of serious frustration to me.

While I often find that Reddit has some useful info on alot of subjects; I never got their popularity format either.

It's not complicated. It's popular because the up-vote system allows people to acquire E-Peen and feel important.

And nested comments makes things a lot easier to follow vs the standard message board.

I think this is the best part of the layout. It makes it a lot easier to only read the parts of discussions you find interesting. I don’t read the DF reddit, but I sometimes read other stuff. The ability to collapse and skip the uninteresting comments is quite nice. The downside to that site, for me, is the formatting. The text area is too wide for me since I almost exclusively read that sort of site on a mobile device and that wide layout makes me have to scroll left and right to read it since I have to zoom in because I need glasses but am too vain to have them.  ;)

I don't worry about E-Peen. My superiority complex is balanced by my inferiority complex. :P
