Cinder Spires Spoilers / Re: What we know

my first thought when I heard it was a steam punk series was that he went back to Alera.

He had made a comment about it becoming very steampunky 1000 years fromn where we left off

another theory, Harry after his death has rewound his own life line. He is visiting Mort prior to Dead beat, and will flit around time. However Ghosts not being subject to this time stream see things differently. Perhaps one of the spots with high necromantic energy is in fact Harry being revived and he lives a life as winter knight parrell to his current one until the events of changes and then steps in.

4
going to say the stones where on the island and new persons used them to build light house but beat to it

5
not to mention lea was behind his threshold and had enough juice to put susan and martn to sleep. Actually that may be another bit of information that Jim referenced and we had not picked up on. The fact that Lea was in Harry's apartment uninvited and seemed to not have any problems from his wards or threshold

6
AA Ms. Duck had this theory as well, and it was well fleshed out. I agree that the last piece of information sealed the deal for me that Mab fixed LC and it alsoe makes perfect sense that Lea was never far away from Harry in the NN

7
maybe in deadbeat he saw a glimpse of the future?

No he had just found out that Sheila was Lash. He knew she had photographic memory and did a quick scan of every page, right after that scene he raises Sue and goes beats down the corpsetaker

Author Craft / don't know if this is possible

I have an idea for a series of books that may be really cool, but I do not have the time, nor am I sure the ability to develop the series in the manner i want. I feel i could describe the scenes and the characters but to develop the individual dialogue and make the characters truly unique and engaging is what worries me. How can I collaborate or sell my idea to someone while protecting myself as well.

to add to Duck's theory, just whose suggstion was it for harry to bind Susan to ensure safety so they could have sex, produce Maggie and make Hqarry winter knight.

AND ONCE ASCENDED SHE LOSES HER ability to be flexible and is always bound to her nature meaning that her name is locked. Sorry about the caps.

to rectify the idea that the queens and ladies and mothers stem from one source, i would postulate that it does not matter what physical form they take so much as the power they use. My thought is that the original "mother nature" was bound, to balance herself out and be able to meet her needs she developed six seperate power levels with physical and emotional manifestations. That is why lily is now the spitting image of Maeve, the power subverts the physical form to what it wants. That is also why it was so disasterous for Lily to go adeshit, she turned not just against her nature but against herself.

I think it depends on whcih trial, I always took it as the trial during summer knight, which would have had him at about 18 or so I believe but Cillie may know more about it
