Title: The Take-Out Chain Game

After a conversation on the boards, I was inspired to try a game.

You must come up with an excessive, super-deadly attack.  The next person Narrates a Non-Lethal Take-Out.  Points for originality, cheesiness and over-the-topness.

Note:  The attacker has to dictate the Take-Out.  (otherwise, it's a concession)

"murder?  no, no, that wasn't murder!  I just knocked them out!"

I'll start with an easy cliché

Weapon 5 Rocket Launcher attack.

Weapon 5 Rocket Launcher attack.
Rocket flies into the window of a vehicle behind the target and explodes, sending a door flying off into the target's back. He gets knocked over, face-plants on the ground, and is knocked unconscious.

Next up: Weapon: 7 vulcanomancy area attack.

Turn the ground liquid and have it flow over them in a wave. It hardens, trapping them in place. Not a block, because it's intended to end the fight for good.

A saboteur is planting a bomb under a car in a garage when an earthquake occurs and collapses the structure. He is pinned for days beneath the vehicle he intended to destroy. Days later when he is rescued, he gets life in prison.

The sky cracks open and and a mass of flesh dissolving protoplasm from beyond time falls on you. Weapon 4. It's not the stuff that hurts the most, it's the eldritch pitching arm behind it.

You are defusing it in the Nevernever in an area where radiation does not affect organic tissue. Your last second shield absorbs the force of the explosion, but the massive amount of power you put into it causes you to collapse into unconsciousness.

A kraken grabs hold of you with two of its massive tentacles, trying to rip you in two with its Mythic Strength.

Accuracy 8, Weapon 12 Might attack.

It pulls off your legs. Fortunately, the massive pressure exerted by its grip keeps your blood in while it drags you underwater to eat later. You're crippled and likely to drown soon, but you're not dead.

As officiator of the game I want to clarify that the attacker must dictate a TAKE OUT; it's not a concession.  The person taking the damage doesn't get to dictate the non-lethal part.  I edited the first post.

The first bullet hits the person in the throat and they fall over onto the floor of the car.  Fortunately, the car shields the person from most of the other bullets.  It looks pretty bad but, really, the other bullets mostly missed and the person has lost lots and lots of blood....

(not the best - but it was a tough one...)

You should know better than to pick up a duck in a dungeon.  Attack 2, Wpn 6.

It turns out you were actually standing in the middle of a dump and the block forces you to the ground and you get impaled in many places by the debris however the garbage manages to break the fall around you and you are merely pinned by it and suffering from the aforementioned punctures and a severe concussion, thus mankinds disregard for the environment saves the day!

I can't believe I'm the first to do this one:

A man pulls the big reveal of his grand scheme to destoy city X and there is no way for poor Alfred to stop him yet poor Alfred is the only one there. Of course little does the villan know that despite all his protections and body guards, preparation and circumstance Alfred is a completely uninjured wizard with 5 lore and 4 fate points he has been nursing. So Alfred thinks well who wants to live forever anyways? So he death curses the SOB right there and then severing and utterly destroying his soul.

Naturally Alfred is a PC so has all consequences to call including his extreme. Because he is completely uninjured he can call them twice. He is going to spam all his fate points and hit him just that much harder. But wait that's not all he opens his sight and learns all he can about the villan who has the full 7 aspects, as he is destroying the soul he can easily call them all.

So 20 shifts for the consequences, 20 for the consequences again, 5 for lore, 8 for the fate points, and 14 for the aspects.

So ye old villan's soul is hit for a 67 stress hit. But that's not all. Alfred does not bother in the least trying to control the spell so his body is hit for a 67 stress hit of fallout.

The villain's soul is destroyed utterly, and arguably this kills him. But his heart keeps beating, and he still has some electrical activity in his brain.

So arguably, he's alive.

The small bombs are a shot of Jack Daniels dropped in a half pint of Guiness, but you have several.  The next morning you wake up with a brutal hangover.

The satellite was pulled from space by a pissed off wizard and it destroys your vampiric boss's fortress luckily for you, you happen to be cleaning out your masters safe and are trapped inside a "safe". TKO Red court base. lol

A popular but usually less homicidal superhero is trying to bisect you with his laser eyes.

The attack has a Weapon rating of over 9000.

A monstrous creature beats a PC into a bloody pulp with a washing machine for a bludgeon, then stops, puts on some sunglasses and makes a joke about how the opposition is 'washed up.'

You win for resurrecting the game!  Your last one almost ended it all - fortunately, it was non-lethal.

The person manages to barely squeak through the blades but loses both legs below the hips...then hits the ground, with such force they suffer a major spinal injury causing them to be paralyzed from the neck down.  They'll still be able to tell you the location to their Evil Boss's lair...

Next:  Accuracy 40; weapon 0 trash compactor.  Not even the storm trooper armour will help.

His magical golf club imparts uniform acceleration to the things it strikes, which makes using irregularly-shaped balls of squishy meat much more practical. (He used to use an ordinary club, but the splatter factor made it nearly impossible to sink any shots.)

So you just fly through the air, totally unharmed, until you land in a deep pit full of dead bodies for a hole-in-one. Which breaks one of your legs and knocks you out, unfortunately.

A PC has been socially outmaneuvered by the bad guys and must threaten a police station with a suicide vest and hostage to prevent a city block full of people from being burnt to the ground. The vest, naturally, goes off. Weapon 4 area attack.

Lavatskia is a surprisingly nice place as long as you don't stand too close to the fires. Being sent there makes it impossible for you to mess with your enemy's plans, but it doesn't actually harm you.

I have 2 - choose the one you like the best:

1.  The grenade is actually tear gas.  You are incapacitated and probably have a burned mouth.  The bad guys win.

2.  The anxiety from having a grenade about to explode in your mouth causes you to feint.  Fortunately the grenade was a dud.  The bad guys win.

Next: Slammed by an 18-wheeler into a concrete wall.

The dragon succeeds!  Well, not quite.  Instead of a TPK, he gets a TPNLTO (Total Party Non-Lethal Take-Out):  3rd degree burns cover 80% of you and your party's bodies.  But You're alive!  Dragons like their food fresh, so he takes you back to his lair for a midnight snack.  (the bad guy wins)

Thaumaturgical attack:  Multi-zone, killer radiation.  Accuracy 30

Just after you finish an impromptu musical number, a massive twister sweeps you, your house and your little dog too off to a far away land. You and your dog wind up relatively unscathed, but a local witch finds herself on the wrong side of your house as it lands.

Due to excessive use, the blade has dulled and the rails have gotten crusty with dried blood. So the guillotine just breaks your neck. The executioner assumes you're dead and tosses you in the corpse pile.

Accuracy 12 weapon 0 attack, drinking acid in a magically-forced suicide attempt.

The acid in questin is lysergic acid diethylamide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lysergic_acid_diethylamide).  You find yourself unable to act or participate meaninfully in the scene as you undergo a mind-bending spiritual experience in which you become one with the cosmos.  A great excuse to use any Refresh you have to buy new Powers or Refinements once you come down.

Many, many bones shatter as you are constricted.  Wih limbs broken and crushed topped with the excruciating pain, You are unable to do anything and are at the mercy of the monster. 

Next:  something suitable for thread necromancy....

Not sure if the rules of the game are coming across properly here. The idea is to turn a very lethal attack into a non-lethal result.

Anyway, you accept the money, leave Tibet, and take the job you're being offered.

I totally thought you were going to go for a Donnie Darko reference...

Weapons 10 Monofilament Whip attack to a character grappled by said monofilament whip.   

You've wrapped the whip around them so perfectly that,  If they move in any direction, they will be eviscerated. They must remain completely still until you choose to free them.

Next:
High Speed Cat and Mouse conflict which ends with the losing driver losing control of the car and Driving off the road and over a cliff.  The car explodes into a ball of fire when it impacts the bottom.
