Okay, just another toss out idea.  How about we try to have a standing meet-up at a central-like location -"Every other month on the 2nd Saturday night at 6pm. Meet in the bar area.  Ask the Hostess for the 'Dresden party'"
Perhaps meetup.com would be a better method of organizing such a regular gathering of fans.

Anyone but us have geek-crossover tendencies? We'll be at the Maryland Renaissance Festival the third week of September and the third weekend in October we'll be doing the Zombie Run in Baltimore...
One is rarely a geek of just one thing...

Chances are, I will not be attending the renfaire this year (October is shaping up to be a mad scramble), but... does anyone else here happen to hang out at HacDC?  After the book signing in NOVA last week, I feel like I may have run into some of you.

So, anyone else interested in meeting together every now and then?  If there is enough interest, we could possibly meet somewhere where we could quaff beverages of an adult nature and chow down on dead meat (or dead plants, if that's your thing), and all have a good time convincing each other that our crazy Dresden Files conspiracy theories are the best ones.
Maybe.  Life will be hectic for me for the next month or two because I will be moving (still within the DC area, but a move is a move) but I would like to meet other users of the forums some time.

Like this shirt. Only a True Blood fan would get this.

I need to get that for my partner before HBO finds out about it and sends a cease and desist order.

He could just use a handful of ribbon wires connected end to end.
What about the magical equivalent of telekinesis?  He might not be able to touch type, but he might be able to manage point-and-click (as opposed to search-and-destroy).

I'm trying to claw to that on my to-do list.  If I can get to it before I'm out of town for my 5-year anniversary vacation, I will!
Congratulations, Iago!

I very much like that shirt idea.

Ha!  I can top it..."The city was on fire and it wasn't my fault".

A Wizard that casts spells in jibberish rather than latin.  There would be nothing more satisfying for me than screaming RAKANISHOO and having a ridiculously large fireball erupt from my palm.
Very Peter Carroll - magical glossolalia.

Wow, Fred. Do you want my McAnally's design? I'd like to learn the secret handsign!  ;D
Maybe?

(note: that is safe for work - it was taken at 'Text Editor Gang Wars')

Not a good idea unless you're me.  Cafe Press stomped down HARD on my stores until I got Jim to write them and explain how I was doing so with his express permission. :)
After what happened to all of the Firefly/Serenity fanstores, I am not surprised.

Harry's Nametag
Rawlins' Nametag

I used Priscellie's SplatterCon logo, hope that's alright.  :-\
..does anyone with a Cafe' Press store want to set those up?

Many of the Tshirts described in the books are real.
I wish that I had known that.  I almost went mad pulling an all-nighter trying to make the "Easter's cancelled" graphic for the t-shirt for my costume back in February.

Unfortunately, I wound up not going to the convention because of the ice storm that hit Washington, DC.

What about a McAnally's Pub t-shirt?
