Display Case / Re: Perfect Casting, part 2

Playing Harry is more about the ability to pull off the emotional range. I mean... I wouldn't want a 4 foot tall octogenarian, but if the actor can successfully carry the range between righteous wrath, bumbling uncertainty, and snarky irreverence, I wouldn't object to him playing the role. Nathan Fillion can hit all of those notes well, and has facial expressions that add much more cowbell to the writer generated snarky lines.
That rules Tom Cruise out then.

And like the postman, she always rings twice?

Using the fickle finger of fate?

Best thing I can think of is something representing Death. A clown comes to mind but that had been used as well. What about something that possesses the "fickle finger of fate"? I'll let you know if I think of something else but that's just off the top of my head.

If Harry is a knight then Toot Toot may be his squire.

Oh so cool, I can't wait, I'm really enjoying this book so much more than I originally thought I would, as much as I do the Dresden Files, which is amazing, I never thought a book would get me going like these do, I love how JB works with the mind and the detail which is put into the book, the way he paints a picture in so many different ways....just incredible!
I agree entirely. I can't wait for his steampunk series. I'm reading Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff at the moment and that is excellent.
I love Roman history as well so sorcery in a pseudo Roman setting rocks.

I am re reading them, Ali. Its amazing you start looking at things and a lightbulb goes on above your head and you think, "Oh yeah, the clue to that was way back in book 1"

If there is anything you wish you had done differently in the game make it a time/spatial or dimensional portal which drags them back to a point in time that suits you and makes the players forget what has gone on before. Bwahahahahaha.

Oh, good lord!   ::) Please don't get any wrong ideas--my book isn't porn; its a straight-up murder mystery.  It does contain some adult language and period-appropriate political incorrectness, though.
I was only teasing Liz. Amazon probably put that advert there because people are buying in bulk. Probably under female author category. I read a lot of medieval murder mysteries and am amazed at what I get as a suggested title.

Also, as I mentioned briefly in weird, I am working on another project. It's a revamping of an old story I did for the 2004 NaNoWriMo contest. I won't mention the name or any specifics yet, because if I don't like it I won't be putting it up.

It is several months down the line, anyway, since this one, if I put it up on Kindle, will be a complete story, not little bits at a time like Xyxyx.

If I like where the story is going, I'll post updates here on and off.  ;D
Waiting patiently.
