Title: DragonCon
Post by: prophet224 on August 20, 2010, 03:23:25 AM
Hey all!

Just thought I'd throw out a quick question. Anyone going to DragonCon in Atlanta this September? I'm going and very excited, though much of my focus will be writing groups. Looks like Jim is on the guest list though, so I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for him! :)

Anyway, here is the web site.

Take care!

I'll be there, although I'll probably miss the fun of seeing Fred at the 'indie'/small press RPG panel Friday.  Planning on having several pick up gaming options on me so PM me or email me if your interested.  saintandsinner.jmj@gmail.com

Myself and the DFRPG gaming group I play with are going as well. :)

Sweet! Anyone interested in meeting up? I'll be in workshops until like 3, I think, but otherwise...

On a related note, I keep looking for the schedule grids, but they aren't up yet. Where are people finding out about times for things, like the Friday panel?

I know about the panel because I've been trying help get it organized.  Not sure if it'll be much more than Fred at this point.  D*C has just not been helpful this year.  I'm not the primary contact point but I get the impression the staff are not committed to this being successful.

Thanks for the info - they finally got the grids up. That's a shame about them not being too helpful. There is clear representation from the big gaming groups, but indies should really have a solid representation, particularly at something like this. Wish I could make the panel. :(
