Have you thought about listing the names of the guest stars, next to the Guest Stars slot, to help keep the participants straight?  ;D

Bummer. I had a mental image of Bella Lugosi playing at a blues club. :D

Oh, come on.  That's not fair.  The poor guy is only getting thirteen minutes of sleep per day as is. ;)

Nifty.  If you haven't been following his work you can page back a few days on his blog to read up on the first Prague session.

I have to agree with Deadmanwalking about the Red Court,  but I love everything else about the setting.  I especially like the notion of the Fey Courts closing their doors.

And the trapped Jews...

And the ghost of the blind clock-maker...

Classic.

Actually, I'd like to see fate hammered into a D&D setting.  Not literally, of course, but a swords and sorcery setting would be a lot of fun.  My group is currently using 3.0/3.5 rules, but there are still a hell of a lot of limitations.  We tend to think outside the box, so not being able to call a shot or pull off a maneuver that isn't 100% standard is a pain.  And the magic system sucks.

So Evil Hat, when you catch your breath, you up for reinterpreting the classics?

You could even call it Arcanos ;)

I had a bit of a read around, apparently there are minks nesting in the undergrowth underneath that section of bridge. They tested the different species of dog that have jumped the most and found that the scent of a mink drives them crackers. So when its a warm day and the rain doesnt supress the smell and certain species of dog walk past...

Nah, evil dog hating faeries.  Makes much more sense.

There is one for becoming a 4D being as well...

God, I haven't played that game in years. I was so excited when I saw they had a 4th Edition book out. I'd hoped they'd overhauled the system, but no. It remained pretty much the same.

I always have loved the setting of Rifts, but that freaking system is pain.

Yeah, I honestly think we need the rules before we can work out how to do that one mechanically. Cool idea, though.

Can't take the credit on this one. Stole it from Erikson/Esselmont.  In the Malazan books the shape shifters that have a single alternate form are Soultaken, the ones that can split into a pack or swarm are D'ivers.

The doggie death bridge is what bothered me the most.  Mysterious abandoned cities and crazy-lady architecture doesn't hit me the same as K9's trying for instant evolution.

The double jumpers are even more baffling.

Was thinking of a shape-shifter that could split into separate beings. Along the lines of forming a pack of wolves or a school of piranha, but I'm not sure how to implement it.

Suggestions?

Was thinking on your restrictions and came up with an oddball character.

De-incarnate.

I thought it would be fun to have a character that was based on the concept of reincarnation, only he didn't start out this life with a clean slate.  End result: 10 yr old kid with old man memories.  I figured his last life would have been about world war II era, and I've been toying with the idea of him as a mechanic or pilot.

It'd be a bit of a stretch to include something this off the wall in a Dresden game but it' work well in a SOTC run.

You mean aside from having my character sneak out in a Zorro costume to the Imperial embassy so he could launch a pineapple can attached to a letter giving the Imperial ambassador everything we had learned out of a case of mis-directed nationalism? Could it have been the jumping out of a biplane with a bungee cord attached to his waist and a rapier in one hand to board an enemey biplane?

Ah. I apologize.  It seems you were innocent of all charges. ::)

Loved it. From Neutral Grounds to the glaring nun.  It was also interesting to see a ghoul with brains beyond its stomach.

That said, the trenchcoat wearing, katana packing LARP vampire was the best.

Cue the Warden who says, "I didn't pay attention to what he was saying, I just knew he'd killed people and was a sorceror, so I cut off his head!"  Grin

Even if a characters gets away with skirting or breaking the Laws by being protected under the Accords (basically Diplomatic Immunity) it won't protect them from cowboy justice.

Dark alley + tire-iron = crushed skull.  ;D
