Site Suggestions & Support / Whatever happened to the [glow] tag?
« on: May 16, 2007, 08:24:25 PM »
This used to work fine:
You mean like this?

That used to be 24point text, glowing red.

What happened? The manual here says it should still work.

Site Suggestions & Support / Code changes?
« on: May 12, 2007, 10:31:59 PM »
I'm having some trouble with quoting when I enter replies: just clicking the "quote" link is giving me what I assume are Javascript errors.

I'm getting much the same when I try to preview.

This is happening in FF and IE.

Have there been any changes to the code lately?

Calendar Event Discussion / Is Jim ever likely to visit the UK?
« on: April 13, 2007, 02:03:41 PM »
For those of us with families, insufficient funds, or indeed both ;) there is no way we could ever get to the US to meet Jim.

Is he ever likely to be able to visit us in the UK instead?

Site Suggestions & Support / AIM limitations
« on: March 14, 2007, 03:52:12 PM »
I just joined up to AIM using my email address as my screen name, and the forum won't let me enter it because there's not sufficient room.

Why is there a length restriction here when AIM itself doesn't seem to bother?

Site Suggestions & Support / Notification emails
« on: February 16, 2007, 11:04:46 AM »
Is it possible for the notification emails for "new topics" to be modified to include which board they've been created on?

I just got a message saying '103 Hair of the Dog [spoiler alert]' had been created, but it would seem that this thread has been nuked, so that link just dumps me in an error situation with the only link provided being "back"...which since I just opened a new window isn't going anywhere;)

Thanks in advance...

Site Suggestions & Support / Could "new topic" message say which board?
« on: November 16, 2006, 08:46:25 AM »
I've just got a "new topic" message for Warning! Anyone can peep at sites you visit! which turns out not to be there when I visit.

Now I'm assuming from the tone of the title that it's likely to have been nuked as spam, but it would be nice to know which board it had been posted in so I can go check whether I did something wrong.

Is this an existing option in the board software, that the notification message can state in which board a new topic has been created? Or would the software have to be changed?

(Oh, BTW, I noticed while looking at the support site for the software that there's a new version out already ;D and the next is just around the corner 8))

TIA HAND
