I'm thinking the ghouls have a different purpose, mainly making him m confront his own hatred in opposition of what EB has done with his hatred of Wamps.

Sounds like there can be multiples:now, I think EB had more to explain there and Harry's dumb self over road the next part...
We've never been told what Elaine's birthday is, but I doubt it's also Halloween, so I'd say she's probably not one.
I’m not sure it works that way. You have to have the will and belief to cast the spell in the first place, but after that it’s “actions have consequences” time.but that's just what it does it seems.. that's why not being burned by your own flame, like Justin, is considered high level skill for instance... Or an overpowering alteration of reality basically. Look at Harry in GP, he stands amidst the flames but isn't truly burned by them. Totally different then what Asher does with her counter spell for instance. Your belief goes into the spell, but most people are not Neo minded to break reality itself. Dogmatic ppl could do it. This is also part of why Harry is so disturbed by the human he kills while fleeing the wild hunt I think.- he certainly didn’t want to, but once let loose, the spell proceeded to its conclusion.(click to show/hide)
Lancelot was French.he originated in a French writing, not quite the same, he was also considered a later version of a Celtic hero, or a God of thunder and lightning, which would give him the all important parallels that Harry has to others.
You should put the summoning circle in the continuity errors thread.someone pointed out years ago now(cannot remember who) that his circle actually changes from copper to bronze and back to copper before he ever had it upgraded. So yea, something's off about that..
Probability manipulation only goes so far against a constant passive effect.I'd disagree.. energy expended would be greater than energy naturally flowing. Depending on his technique and efficiency, it would simply require upkeep. He directly effects the Haunts by expending his energy upon them. Or to try to put it in physics, if you apply a force against gravity you can resist gravity, how far and how long you resist it depends entirely upon the methods used to do so. If he can directly exert his will upon the situation he must simply apply the right amount of Dv(thrust) in the right quantity for the right amount of time. Gravity is a constant, a passive effect. Unless they become agitated their effecting tech would remain a constant as well. Look at what harry did in DM, he held it back like a dam and when he let it all go it all flowed out at once. Surely if a few well placed tables and lights can do it, mouse wouldn't have any trouble applying the same technique to similar effect without directly fighting it, just making it flow more smoothly.
Lucifer's very-unsubtle contribution in Small Favor was the massive rush of hellfire that was used to power the two giant hellfire pentagrams: the first that let them capture Marcone and the second that sprung the ambush at the aquarium.this I know, somehow I replied to a comment that doesn't exist 🤔🤷♂️
